Perfectly Excellent

Ep 39 - We apologise for the slightly lower audio levels for Tim on this episode. Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked. For the March edition of The Rewind Club, it's Tim's choice. Alan hasn't seen too many Godzilla movies and Tim has maybe seen them all too many times. For The Rewind Club, Alan watched King Kong vs Godzilla for the 1st time. Tim gave it a courtesy rewatch as well and we'll be comparing notes and talking about the 1962 classic. Ep 38 - We went to Zolocon for the first time this past week. Join Tim and Alan as we go through our thoughts on getting to King of Prussia, the event itself and maybe even show off some of our pickups (you didn't think we'd leave empty-handed, did you?). It was a big, busy show and somehow, we survived.

Ep 37 - Sports aren't anything that really has a lot of interest to Tim or Alan. You won't find us watching the game or playing fantasy football. We thought it would be amusing to have perhaps the two least qualified people to talk sports talk sports for a while. Turns out, it's not as cut and dry as we thought as both of us have history and even some nostalgia for various sports and sports related collectables. You probably know more about sports than we do, so come join us and help us out.

Ep 36 - NY Toy Fair 2026 is in the books and while Alan & Tim weren't there, we admired from afar, feverishly taking notes on the reveals worthy of discussing on this week's episode of Perfectly Excellent. Ep 35 - It's our second Rewind Club episode, where either Alan or Tim picks a movie (or something else) the other hasn't seen and we watch and discuss. This time it's Alan's turn to pick and he's chosen Krull. It's a movie he watched quite often as a kid, but one that Tim has never seen. Does it still hold up for Alan? Ep 34 - We haven't done one of these in a while, but Tim and Alan are back for a Six Demon Bag episode of Perfectly Excellent. As a reminder, a Six Demon Bag episode means a bunch of smaller topics instead of our usual one main topic. This week we'll be chatting about what we'd like to see revealed at New York Toy Fair next week, the new Muppet Show and NECA Muppets figure tease, McDonald's bringing back the Changeables Happy Meal, a new segment called DO SOMETHING and our usual invention exchange. Ep 33 - We're going to try something new today, which is hopefully the first of many episodes. We've been talking about things we haven't watched or heard in a while and others that one of us have never seen, so we came up with this, The Rewind. We'll hit the rewind button on something old and chat about it. We're starting off with Godzilla and with Godzilla you have to start with the 1954 original. Alan hadn't seen it before, Tim has seen it a hundred times. But we upped the ante and watched both the original 1954 Japanese original and the 1956 American version, which Tim hadn't seen in many a decade. Now, we shall talk about Godzilla.

Ep 32 - Last we we wrapped up 2025, this week we'll be talking about 2026. What toys, movies, shows are we looking forward to? What do we hope will come out that hasn't been announced yet?
