As you develop rapport with God by learning His Word, you learn to love Him. “We love Him because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). Problem-solving device number seven. Personal love for God is the greatest virtue you can have and your motivation for life. It’s an appreciation for Who and what He is. “Whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. Because of this we know we are in Him” (1John 2:5). Personal love for God is stability in your life—it is a spiritual weapon. The more you obey and love God, the more capacity you’ll have for love. “Being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Christ Jesus unto the glory and the praise of God” (Phil 1:11).
