This was about as excruciating of a loss as it gets for the Bucs as Matt Gay missed a game winning 34-yard field goal as time expired and the Bucs lost 32-31. After the game, the guys were joined by long time Bucs fan and Barstool Sports' very own Steven Cheah.
Cheah is the co-host of the Surf And Turf Podcast along with former NFL offensive lineman Willie Colon and also has contributed to Pewter Report with the "Eye In The Sky" where he breaks down each Bucs game on the all twenty-two.
Plenty of feelings were put out on the table as Cheah and the rest of the members of the Pewter Nation podcast break down what actually went wrong. In a game where Mike Evans had three touchdowns before the half, Saquon Barkley left the game early and Shaq Barrett had four sacks, the Bucs still somehow managed to lose.
Does Byron Leftwich still not trust Jameis Winston? Is that why they didn't throw as much in the second half? There were plenty of questions and observations brought up, and it only get tougher for the Bucs next week playing against the Rams.
Despite a debilitating loss, there were some positives about the Bucs before the anger set back in for the way they lost. Buckle up for a fiery episode of the Pewter Nation Podcast, and while you're at it, make sure to check out Cheah's Surf And Turf podcast.
