PEG INTERVIEWS UK Stadium Punk Rock Band  “THE KANZ” BIO: The Kanz are Stadium-Punk Rock Music. Mind-blowing rock shows, deep emotional tunes and electronic party vibes. Just shake your body on the dance-floor and come jumping on the stage! Following on from the several gigs played in Music venues during years 2018/2019, The Kanz released their debut single “Relativism” last 26th March and new music followed straight away. The band is known in London for their high-energy shows with entertaining, emotionally involving and innovative punk rock/ alternative music. Fans of punk rock shows are pleased to hear Fabio Nania (lead singer) stealing the show with his captivating strong rock vocal tone and Francesco Di Cataldo ( synth player) bringing a brand new electronic sound that takes the punk rock scene to a whole new level of party vibe. Brazilian drummer Rafael Pastana and Italian bass player William Patini are completing this brilliant team. 

The Kanz’s sound continues to assert itself with this mashed-up genre born by the influence of Punk Rock, Alternative Rock and Electronic Music of the 90's and 00's. Familiar genres can also be glimpsed but ultimately the listener is immersed in The Kanz’ s new futuristic rock world and dramatic vision. An assured musical confidence creating a wall of sound encapsulating a deep inner reflection and at times a message of rebirth: a return to the true awareness of today’s human condition. PEG Talks to Chicago Analog & Digital Music Duo Dance Loud

Dance Loud is not a DJ and is not a band, it’s something weird in between. Dance Loud is a Chicago based electronic duo that incorporates a mix of analog and digital.

We talk to the duo for the 2nd time about their 2020 concept album “The Moment”.

Kristin Sanchez

Kristin Sanchez is a vinyl house/electronic DJ, with a penchant for adrenaline building blends with heavy equalization, hip-hop style scratching on strong percussive, high tempo dance tracks. Kristin started spinning vinyl at the age of 18 which enabled her to max out her first credit card on a set of tables. Growing up in the city of Chicago, she developed a life long love for old school Chicago house tracks. Her major influences include “Kaskade,” “Timbaland," "Cajmere," & “Swedish House Mafia.”

Deseree Fawn Zimmerman

Desereé Fawn is a classically trained rock, jazz drummer, that is noted for her syncopated off beats often using polyrhythms and polymeters. Desereé is from a rural farm town in Southern Illinois. She started playing the guitar at the age of 7 and drums at the age of 10, in her elementary school band and playing through college. Previous band styles she performed in range from Melodic to Metal. Her major influences include Danny Carey from “Tool,” “Pink Floyd," "Radiohead," and "Deadma5."

PEG interviews Belarus Photographer Artist Dari Mos

Bio in her own words:

My name is Darya Moskaliova. I am also known as Dari Mos, an artistic pseudonym I have chosen for myself by cutting out a part of my first and last names to make it easier to write, pronounce and remember. I am from Belarus, living in France since 2011, I met my boyfriend Skye (he is American) in 2016 and started to live in-between France and California. I have been a full time photographer since 2011 along with a current focus on sculpture, music, videos and street-art. I am self-taught. The only schools I went to have little to do with photography: I studied philosophy at Sorbonne and I went to the theater conservatory in Paris as well.

I use photography as a voice to express my particular vision of the world. I find inspiration in things others may often ignore, in the ugliness, sadness and melancholy of our world. I use photography assisted by other media at my disposal to help me share my imagination, I draw inspiration from the darker areas in life that are often overlooked as I feel that the ugly things in life often harness unseen beauty. I am inspired by the counterculture of past generations, in the 70’s new wave and punk movement, by gothic architecture and the cultures of the surroundings of my youth growing up in Belarus and France.

Darya Moskaliova, Almost Home

From September 8 to October 24, Médiathèque de Lorp-Sentaraille — meeting and opening on Friday September 11 at 6 p.m. Darya Moskaliova is 24 years old. She was born in Belarus and started taking photos at the age of 15, when she arrived in France: “I was surrounded by a world that was completely unknown to me, photography was my only tool for life. 'tame, but also my only weapon to fight and survive. "A philosophy graduate from the Sorbonne, she mixes and integrates her creations (video, sculpture, painting) with her images. She has lived in Saint-Girons since 2019.

"When a man does not belong to a country, a house, can we really take away this attribute of living from him? Can we say that a vagrant does not live? In my opinion, we will always live: in the street, in a car, in trains, between houses, between countries. By saying Almost home ’, I think I can define my artistic lifestyle that always escapes comfort and stability, so that the ink inside me never dries up.
