Phantom Electric Ghost

Phantom Electric Ghost Interviews: Danielle Orsino: Competitive Martial Artist, Cosplayer Nurse Turned Fantasy Author

Inspiration to culmination- how a chance meeting with a patient turned into a fantasy series

Biography

As featured on the Tamron Hall Show

Danielle M. Orsino is an award-winning  fantasy novelist whose lifelong vision is to create whimsical realms that her readers can escape to. Her compelling word-weaving pays homage to a multitude of personal muses, from Chris Claremont and George Pérez (both famous comic book writers), to Anne Rice, Jim Henson and Wonder Woman.

The creative spark of storytelling has been with Danielle ever since she was a child, but martial arts and her nursing career took center stage into adulthood. Then, on a day like any other, it was reignited during the most unexpected of moments: while treating one of her patients. Seeing that they longed for a distraction during their arduous treatments, the floodgates of inspiration soon burst forth. So, Danielle took it upon herself to tell them a story; a fantastical narrative that would leave the confines of that IV room’s walls and land upon a page. Before she knew it, what started as an imaginative tale to pass the time, turned into book, followed by an entire series: The Birth of Fae published by 4Horsemen Publications, Inc. With an unwavering passion for cosplay and comics, it was a unanimous decision to place her on the cover of each book in all her Fae cosplay glory. The Birth of Fae also features Los, an affable chameleon dragon inspired by her fun-loving Yorkie named Carlos.

This “New Queen of the Fae’s” unmatched world-building and masterful Fae-origin retellings have led to an ever-growing queendom of “Fae-natics”.

“After summoning this world into existence through an imaginative force of will, Danielle has scoured every inch of the landscape several times over. Critics often praise a story’s world building by saying that it feels “lived in.” Well, the world of the Fae certainly seems like that because Danielle herself has happily lived there for years as she worked to put all of this together... My favorite part of this story is that it is gloriously depicted in vibrant images.”

-Clete Barrett Smith, New York Times Bestselling Author of

If We Were Giants, Aliens on Vacation series, and Magic Delivery

PEG Conversation With Kirsten Rudberg: Author, Podcaster, Screenwriter, Clergy, MDIV, Producer

Listening to the Universe

Biography

MDIV graduate, I am a panentheist, but also author (my books were recently acquired by George R.R. Martin's bookstore in Santa Fe), Screenwriter, Producer & Podcaster. A believer in humanity, I use my words in diverse ways to encourage us to be better in this world, but am especially drawn to defending our shared environments.

About Kirsten Rudberg

Having grown up overseas (in both Guyana, South America as well as Lahore, Pakistan) it was only later that I understood that my childhood has dramatically shaped me in ways that I did not expect. They even have a Wiki entry for kids like me, "Third Culture Kids" and let me tell you, I fit it to a "T!" My childhood was informed by the Islamic call to prayer and my education at the American School had me playing with kids from all over the world of every color, creed and religion.

When one grows up like this, is it any wonder that the world becomes enchanted? That other humans become enchanted? I am endlessly thrilled with meeting other people and getting to know who they are and what makes them tick. I find that developing relationships and building respectful community, as well as joy-filled community is essential to my being happy.

I live an enchanted life and besides for being a "creative" and author, I also have an animated series on YouTube called "Murder of 2," about two crows who sit on a line and observe humanity, as well as multiple other projects I'm working on right now.

I am a panentheist, who believes that Spirit or Energy or God/Goddess exists in all I can see and not see, and that magic and miracles are real and potent. This is the gist of my podcast, Byte Sized Blessings, where I interview people of all kinds asking them about powerful moments in their lives, ones that changed them forever.

I walked the Camino in 2013 and that is a story in itself...I believe in adventure, in joy, in feeding my heart with belief in other people and that eventually we will create the communities and spaces that will heal and include everyone. (at least everyone that wants to be included, because, boundaries!)

Phantom Electric Ghost Conversation With Nancy Abramson, Entrepreneur, Life Coach

Costly consequences of The Trap of Comparison and what to do instead to Grow your Business AND Enjoy your Life!!

Biography

Service-based entrepreneurs have deeper profits and more free time on their dream boards, but many can’t figure out how to make it their reality.  This is a problem I’d love to discuss as a guest on your podcast – especially if you and your audience have that same dream. 98% of my clients realized this vision and go on to live their dreams since I started this business in 2016.

We can have a juicy conversation about 3 ways to ditch distractions to deeper profits and amplify free time, the importance of knowing your numbers, and/or the costly consequences of The Trap of Comparison.  I had the same dream and made it my reality when I sourced courage to leave my soul-sucking corporate accounting job to design a way to serve that would open the door to love my life, enjoy my work, and have white space on the calendar to dream even bigger dreams…
