Biography

Rhonda Parker Taylor is an American writer, entrepreneur, and academic researcher. Born on October 18, 1964, in Noblesville, Indiana, she is the second youngest of five children to Anita and William Parker, founders of a steel manufacturing company. Rhonda’s childhood was spent in the midst of cornfields and cows, attending Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis.

After completing a fashion merchandising program at Bauder College in Arlington, Texas, Rhonda returned to Indiana, where she eventually found her passion for writing. Her debut novel, “Crossroads,” a suspenseful masterpiece, was released in February 2023. Endorsed by bestselling author J.J. Hebert and Golden Globe-nominated actress Mariel Hemingway, the novel has been hailed as a captivating crime thriller that keeps readers intrigued from start to finish.

While pursuing her academic explorations, Rhonda attended the University of Phoenix for a doctoral program in business and earned an MBA and a bachelor’s in science management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Rhonda’s diverse writing spans from educational works to fiction, and she is well-known for her research on emotional intelligence. Her academic achievements extend to being a prominent leader presented at the United Nations Global Compact Committee.

Beyond her writing, Rhonda has an extensive background in teaching and training, with a decade of experience in business, management, and leadership education. She has taught a wide range of business courses at various institutions, including the University of Indianapolis, Oakland City University, National College, and others.

As an entrepreneur, Rhonda founded Intelligence Solutions, providing training, development, academic research, and business writing services. Prior to this, she served as Campus Director and Professor at National College and co-directed a small to midsize advertising agency named Partnership Plus Design Studio.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Rhonda is an avid lover of nature, enjoying the outdoors, animals, birds, and mountains. She is a music enthusiast with an appreciation for various genres, and she loves cooking for others while exploring different foods and recipes. Reading and writing hold a special place in her heart, spanning from academic works to fiction and poetry.

Traveling is one of Rhonda’s passions, and she has extensively explored North America, as well as traveled abroad to various countries, including England, Scotland, Italy, Greece, and others.

How to navigate being alcohol free during the holidays?

Biography

Rose Ann was a successful C-Suite executive and ministry leader in the church.  She was a working mom of four and a social drinker. Over the years, life’s stresses and a difficult marriage created an environment where her alcohol usage increased significantly. After the collapse of her marriage, her drinking further escalated and she felt like a fraud with God and the Church. AA was not an option in her mind.  She had already submitted to God and didn’t want to call herself an alcoholic.  When COVID-19 hit, she enrolled in a coaching program to put alcohol to the side for three months.  Her experience was extremely transformational, and she recognized God’s instruction embedded in the entire process. She became free of the psychological slavery of this habit through this process.  She identified what alcohol had stolen from her life and understood that God had a better plan for her.  Rose Ann felt called to document what she learned with a daily devotional so others can experience God’s promises through scriptural instruction with hope and a better plan for the future.

Biography

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina; following my curiosity, I was encouraged to explore my abilities in different fields – from competitive sports to education and art-related practices. This allowed me a unique adaptability to combine different environments and faculties. However, I now wish to reveal a deeper narrative—the story beneath the surface. In our current capitalist world, we often experience stimuli on one side and battle with symptoms on the other. This hidden periphery became my obsession after years trapped in a cycle of repeating symptoms, like a never-ending nightmare. The root lay in the over-stimuli and with my inability to connect deeply with my inner self. I struggled to handle my emotions in a healthy way and got stuck in toxic and harmful patterns. Desperately, I looked for temporary relief by filling myself with poisons, attempting to numb the pain that haunted me.

This turbulent phase initiated when I made the difficult decision to step away from my career as a professional field hockey player in Argentina. Field hockey had been my life's dedication since the young age of ten. Yet, after two years into my professional sports journey, I made a change to pursue education. This shift marked the start of my struggle –I suddenly found myself completely lost, without purpose, and with no passion for pursuing. I was trapped by an overwhelming emptiness. Consequently, I embarked on the wrong path of addictions and compulsions– seeking comfort in drugs, food, adrenaline, partying, sex– I desperately sought ways to fill the void and momentarily experience a sense of well-being. For years, I was simply filling, not truly feeling. I was incapable of processing emotions in a healthy way, and it all manifested in chaos around my life. Whenever I felt sad, I turned to binging on food, spiraling into an ongoing battle with eating disorders.

Throughout these years, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, delving into mindset and personal development to pave my way toward health and longevity. Therapy was my initial step, but it wasn't until I discovered Coaching that I truly found peace within my body, mind, and spirit. I learned how to navigate this default, unhealthy world and decided to become a health navigator myself, assisting others in EMBRACING LIFESTYLE CHANGES FOR THEIR OVERALL WELL-BEING. My mission is to uncover the dysfunctions within the system and help others awaken, liberate themselves from the chains that bind them, embrace their authentic selves without judgment, connect with their vulnerability, and rewrite their life stories.

Biography

As a lifetime reader and evolving writer, I have always enjoyed fiction that left me wishing there was more to read, made me long for a sequel, or kept me thinking about its intricacies long after I turned the last page. My purpose in writing is to provide for an audience who appreciates plot twists, intrigue, and smart dialogue, which I have crafted to carry them to a surprising and satisfying final chapter.

I have been an educator and library director for over 30 years, but I have been a plot junkie my entire life. I value any medium that keeps me guessing and/or thinking throughout any novel, short story, piece of poetry, movie, and the like. I believe this sentiment accurately describes my style of writing.

I live in Saint Charles, Illinois, with my husband, Kyle, and dogs, Hendrix and Janis. Together, we have two grown children: Mitchell (25) and Madelynn (21).

Biography

Self-published Author, Artist, Designer, Corporate Executive and now Educator specializing in Elementary Education, my journey has been a plethora of learning, creativity and self-discovery. After working in NYC's Corporate America for 30 years, as a single NYer, Covid hit and destroyed my career, so I decided to relocate to Florida for a fresh start and and a second career in teaching. While both rewarding and challenging, I never gave up on my first love of WINE & ART !

I've been a self-taught Abstract Expressionist for nearly 15 years and found painting to be the most calming and creative hobby a woman can have! After creating hundreds of paintings, I designed a course in Art Therapy for students of all ages to use different forms of artistic expression to help explore and transform feelings, thoughts and ideas, as well as process emotional issues to facilitate healing and well-being. This type of painting was my ultimate practice in self-care. I wanted to give back to my readers and introduce them to my Art Therapy images in DIVULGE D'VINO so they may experience the wonderful health benefits of painting and creating art as I did for several years...

I also spent several years in the wine business in NYC and attended many trade events, tastings and classes. My experience left me with an abundance of knowledge of wines from around the globe and I needed to share my newly acquired wine wisdom with the world...and that's when I started my weekly wine blog DIVULGE D'VINO! My readers loved it and found it to be wonderful tidbits of information on wines and food pairings and an incredible escape from the mundane....And how can you have a wonderful full-bodied glass of red without picking up your palette knife and start creating..?!!

This was exactly how DIVULGE D'VINO was born! A sensually charged, passionate and sizzling page turner filled with emotions and gusto by bringing together the very best of both worlds, luscious WINES & unique one-of-a-kind ABSTRACT ART !

Throughout my life I suffered with crippling anxiety, panic attacks and deep suicidal depression. I was living in a state of victim-hood where all I saw was darkness. When I finally realized what I was doing to myself by holding these beliefs, I began to create mental shifts. I started identifying how I can own more of my life and really lead myself. To become someone who created life instead of being dragged through it. Through my decade of combined experience as a licensed psychotherapist, a firefighter, business owner, and mindset coach I've learned a few things about what it truly takes to own your life. I have helped thousands of people over my time in service to others; and what I can share with your audience are personal stories of how I overcame adversity and how I turned pain into power.
