Phantom Electric Ghost Interviews Rara Blue About Her New Album

Rara Blue has finished her newly produced album “Watercolored dreamz” alongside with 2 new music videos.

This 10 track album is produced to inspire people to start following their dreams and passions. The album takes the listener through a journey of alternative electronic pop soundscapes and various emotions. The artist got the inspiration to produce this album from moving to another country, losing a close friend and a family member while not being able to be there and having a breakup all in one year. This took a great mental toll, that's why she feels it can be inspiring for others to also find their way out of seemingly impossible situations.

Rara Blue is an Estonian artist, singer, songwriter and music producer based in Belgium. Her primary influences are from hip-hop, electronic music and pop, binding it into her unique style. She came to Belgium to study electronic music production in PXL university after which she decided to stay in Belgium.

This album was created in collaboration with many musicians and technicians around the world, the vocals were recorded in the Farrm studio in Belgium, the album was mixed in Finland and mastered in the Belgian Motor Music studio. In collaboration with a Dutch rapper Jo Flock, she is releasing the “All We Know” on the album.

"I think it's wonderful how people in the music field are available all over the world via the internet, and after the covid period, we've adapted to new and even more effective ways of working together, so maybe there was something good about that too!" admits Rara Blue. Although the production work has become more web-based, the Rara Blue live band is starting off shows to go see her perform the songs in Belgium starting 28.06.22 at De Serre Hasselt.

We talk about our brand of Expansive Sound recording using the Akai Force.

The brand new Phantom Electric Ghost album is done.  We talk up the process of creating Expansive Sound in album form.

This project was derived from the last two years of recording in our Bedroom Studio.  It originally was going to be the Mega Album “Catfished and Da Hard Boyz” a concept album

However “Catfished” is a 9 hour long album too much for this time.

PEG4EVER is a greatest hits selection from that project if you dare listen to such a big experience you can check it out as a SoundCloud playlist below:
