PiCast Episode 48 - Long Beach Comic Expo

Scott and Brittany went to Long Beach Comic Expo as volunteers to work WhedonCon booth.

It was our first time working a con instead of attending one! It was fun to meet a lot of other attendees and vendors as we promoted our favorite con of 2016, WhedonCon. The folks that bring that fine event to you had to be over at GallifreyOne so they needed some help and we were happy to step in.

We did some Dr. Horrible cosplay for the expo. Scott did a Mash-up of Dr Who and Dr. Horrible on Saturday (Dr. WHorrible). Brittany did Laundry Day Penny Saturday and Dead Penny on Sunday. Scott was Red Dr. Horrible on Sunday.

In this episode, Scott and Brittany talk about the Expo and also some of the friends that they saw there including:

PiCast Episode 46 - Rent20

How many musical episodes of the PiCast can they do?

A lot actually. This one is the big one, RENT. We even managed to get some more special guests on this episode.

On this special episode of the PiCast we talk to Brittany’s friends Hannah and Britt about seeing RENT and how RENT brought them all together. These girls met way back when a little website called MySpace was a thing. Is talking to strangers on the internet okay? These girls make it seem great! They talk about road trips, how they met, how they feel differently seeing RENT 11 years later and dissect the reunion tour.

There’s a special call in from Brittany’s sister Sarah, apparently we don’t check our voicemails that often. Have you been trying to get in touch with us too? We always screen our calls, but we do read tweets, emails, and direct messages on Instagram! Check out our contact information below! You can also follow our guests and tell them how awesome they sounded on the podcast! We hope you enjoy this episode. Remember to measure your life in love.

You can find
Hannah @ertsherner
Britt @brizzo28

And Sarah @sarahrstorm on instagram.
