Pikapi Podcast

The English dub tries to invent some shipping, which is kind of minor compared to the actual plot.  The pokemon prove they can handle themselves, I start off admiring Ash's hero skills despite him not being in this episode, and Butch and Cassidy try to take over Jessie and James' cosplay reputation.  Click here to download or listen!

And my, my, there's a lot of stuff to keep you busy on the Pokemon/nerdy front.  Did I mention I have a new special episode up?  Pokemon Adventures, Volume 1, chapters 6-9, if you're interested!

Pokepress went out to the Pokemon Sun and Moon: Guardians Rising pre-release, and got to talk with some people about that event.  What is there to look forward to in the coming season?  Read here to see what Jake said!  They also made it out to Record Store Day 2017, and then decided they needed even more music with this unboxing of the Alola single.  And if that wasn't enough, did a radio show featuring even more video game music!  And then, their podcast has plenty of stuff about Pokemon and pokemon music, new episodes up!

Misty needs to replenish the Cerulean Gym's stash of gyms badges, but it turns out the process isn't as simple as placing an order... It's time for Pokemon Chronicles, which means plenty of familiar faces!  Including Psyduck!  :)  Click here to download or listen!

Ash and his friends come across a bunch of Pokemon, and of course Ash wants to add one to the team!  In the process, he gets to ruminate on the circle of life and the nature of mortality, battle physics and whether or not the people in his life are actually concerned for his well-being.  It's a small episode, but a lot got jammed in there!  Click here to listen!

Back to Ash and friends, they're having a filler episode, but it doesn't mean we won't talk about anything important.  Pokemon language, anyone?  Meanwhile, the podcast host is distracted by the ISU World Figure Skating Championships.  Which of your favorite athletes win the Spirit of Ash Ketchum Award?  Click here to here the episode!

Meanwhile, Pokepress is becoming a regular globe-trotter, heading out to Australia for the Pokemon Oceanic Championships.  A lot of good interviews with the competetors should be coming your way, like this one with the TCG Masters Runner-Up.

Brock is back! (again!)  And what an episode to come in on, there's new pokemon capturing, battle upgrades, character developments, continuity nods and Ash showing his proficiency in Pika-speak.  Nearly a throwaway, but maybe one of the more important episodes.  Click here to hear what happens!

Pokepress is uploading all sorts of fun interviews from Anime Milwaukee!  Vic Mignogna, anyone?

They've also got a pretty cool blog, this way... :)

It's time to get to know May's family, and Ash looks like the responsible young man you want to bring home.  So much so that Norman and Caroline trust him with their daughter... and their son.  I don't think Ash was planning on a babysitting gig, but he warms up to the idea pretty quickly.  Tune in to hear how that ended up happening!

We're back covering Ash and May, and the hijinks they get up to on the road.  Or I guess the hijinks find them.  Not their fault they stumbled into both a Team Rocket and a Team Magma plot... but at least a professor got a new discovery out of it!  Click here to download or listen!

You should also head over to Pokepress and see their blog or YouTube channel for an interview with Lucien Dodge (Voice actor of "Blue", "Silver", etc) and so much more!

Misty is back at Cerulean Gym, but the PIA is ready to shake things up!  There's also an out of control Gyarados, some fanboys and a familiar trio who want to wrench control of the gym.  She's got her work cut out for her!  How will her first day as gym leader go?  You'll have to click here to find out.
