After six years of tireless advocacy, Katie Bartel, a dedicated inclusion advocate and candidate for Chilliwack School Trustee, is thrilled to announce a major victory for students with support needs. Thanks to her leadership, the Chilliwack School District (SD33) has launched an enhanced pilot project for the After School Sport and Arts Initiative (ASSAI) Grant, expanding opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities with the resources they need.
