In this passage, Jesus unveils His glory to the inner circle of disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration.  Peter, James and John had to be reminded as we do today, that, it's not about us, or a kingdom - it's about Jesus only!

Perhaps Satan's greatest lie is this:  You can come to God and have a relationship with Him, and you can do it on your own terms.  The parable in today's passage from Luke 18 shows the contrast between two persons who approach God in completely different ways, and what God says about their approach.

From this incident in the life of Moses, we learn how God is always calling people to do His work and equipping them to carry out His plan.  Will you answer the call in your life and accomplish great things for God?

In this account of Jesus healing a blind man in stages, there is a great lesson for those early disciples, the religious leaders of the day, and for us who follow the Lord today about the spiritual blindness that so easily afflicts us.  Jesus gives us sight, but He also gives us insight!

This passage of scripture from the earthly ministry of Jesus shows us once again that we can place our common problems in His hand by faith and see

miraculous answers and solutions! If you have Jesus, you have enough.
