Fey WAS NOT detained at the border and drove through a snow storm to return home. Engaging four wheel drive in the snow under heavy load. Fey is 8 days from Canada and can’t wait to get home. Boondocking sucks. Fey is tired of hauling and setting up his trailer. RV campgrounds that are just paved parking lots. Fey is 6,000 feet high at a campsite run by a couple of Friends of Dorothy (maybe). The RV fridge has been totally restored to factory functionality. Fey meets a MAGA Republican who needed help. Fey is in Washington state and heads out to do some grocery shopping and chores. His house hasn’t burnt down and the fires are not significantly larger but they are moving and spreading a little bit. Some of the evacuation orders are downgrading to evacuation alerts. Initial reports that 130 structures lost and 35 structures damaged by fire in his area. Having trouble getting Canadian news in the United States. Driving my 50-foot rig on Interstate 5. Battling with the differences between mileage and kilometre speeds and fuel tracking. Staying at Thousand Trails and the lack of full service hook-ups (IE, no SEWER). The Canadian equivalent prices of things.
