Pinky Pod

A case that prompted a statement from the King himself.

This is the story of the Grimes sisters, which to this day, technically remains unsolved. You'd think it would be a straightforward thing.

You'd be wrong. Twists, turns, deception and chaos.

I finish the episode with a recording of the man who has taken up the case all these decades later.

Surprise bonus episode.

Who was NOF4?

Was he insane? Did he have contact with aliens? Did he know things we don't? Was he actually a genius?

All of the above?

Find out, like I did, after what began as a completely different research project, and stay for the end, which is saved by Ivan.

The true crime story behind a haunting, and the naming of a place.

Dead Woman's Crossing.

Just get the divorce, people, and walk away.

The case is technically unsolved, but a lot of us think we know what happened. We also seem to have a lot of gossip.

Imma make you look over your shoulder for a week with this one. Maybe longer.

Two unsolved cases, creep factor goes up to eleven. Most of the episode deals with "The Watcher," and I don't mean the film.

Tune in, and find out what Sha Na Na, and Clarice Starling have to do with the TRUE tale...

Then, let me know if you drop your phone like it's hot when you hear the last tale.

Aliens have abducted my tongue.

What?

Listen and you'll understand.

Anyway. The biggest, mass UFO sighting you probably never heard of. I may need to red string this.

Buckle up, and take notes.

A ghost story with everything, including the kitchen sink! Smells: check. Levitation: check. Footsteps: check. Hell breaking loose: check.

Demon? Maybe.

Listen to this infamous haunting that garnered too much media attention, likely due to the infamous couple that swooped in towards the end to check things out. Also answered: how does this have a (tenuous) tie to the Exorcist?

Listen all the way to the end for a bonus touch of weirdness involving yours truly.

I'm back for season two! And opening with the craziest possession case I've heard of, yet.

It's one that lasted decades, has exorcisms that didn't take the first (and maybe not second) time, which also inspired its own German publication that was later translated.

Join me for the case of "Anna Ecklund." (Not her real name. Listen and find out.) Stay to the end for the melodrama of BEGONE SATAN!

No clever title, no puns. Season one finale! (Subject to change.)

Port Gamble: a town of ghosts, mills, and tales, now a tourist hot spot.

I may take a two week hiatus or so after this. I'll be back with season two! For now, I hope you give a listen this longer episode that covers everything from the founding of this town, which is on the National Historic Places register; ghosts; ending with the history of the people who were actually here first: S'Klallam.

I have visited Port Gamble, and plan to return. I didn't know about the ghosts at the time! Many photos I'll share on my IG are photos I took, unless otherwise stated.

Stay tuned for what comes next, and thanks for listening. Please share.
