The Celtics went behind by 21 points to the 0-4 Pistons in the first half as their defense stood listless and offense stagnated outside of Marcus Smart. A burst from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the Celtics back and even established a multiple possession lead into the fourth quarter, before Boston's offense capsized in the final four minutes into an 0-for-9 swoon. Grant Williams and Smart unloaded important shots, before Tatum and Brown missed the final two shots that could've won the Celtics the game, then tied it. The Garden Report crew debated the shot selection, who got those shots and more rotation and NBA Draft second guesses early this year.
