Jacobsen finished the weekend very strong with a second place podium at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta this past Sunday. After posting the fastest time in the wet session on Friday he suffered a hard crash during Qualifying 1 on Saturday. Coming into the race, the team had minimal pre-season testing. In addition, Jacobsen was injured in his crash on Saturday. Despite all of these limiting factors he was able to run in third place and finished in 6th overall on Saturday.
