Pixelated Geek Classics

Original broadcast date January 6, 2012. The original podcast post is here: https://pixelatedgeek.com/2012/01/movie-issues-a-view-to-a-kill/

We wanted to start the New Year off with a bang, and nobody causes bigger bangs better than James Bond. This week Leland and Spooky go forth into the world of spy action and watch 1985s A View To A Kill.

This movie has it all: Action, sex, adventure, a bleach-blonde Christopher Walken. What more could you want?

Topics of discussion include Roger Moore's age and why Grace Jones could be the scariest cyborg in the world today. Once within, can we escape the unique madness of the Bond-verse?

Hope your New Year is off to a bang!

But you know what should never be brought to mind? The 1980 movie New Years Evil.

Leland and Spooky bring in the New Year with a real piece of work. At each time zone, someone is killing, and no one can stop him from calling into a new wave radio station and taunting the host. Join us as we try to make it though this movie before the clock strikes 12.

Happy New Years' everyone!

Ho Ho Ho It's Christmas time, and here at Movie Issues we love to watch some awesomely bad Christmas movies. And nothing says Christmas to Leland and Spooky more than love, family, coming together, drugs, sex and murder.

It's gonna be a Silent Night, Deadly Night this week. Come gather round the old fireplace as we watch the tale of poor Billy. This hard to find classic from 1984 is nothing but great Christmas fun, and a bloody good time!

Join us each week as we dive into some craptastic movies and see how many beers it take to get through them.
