It’s part 1 of our Season 3 finale and the Otaku crew has a ton to talk about this week (hence the two parts). This week’s episode of Otaku Street has it all: gaming news and rumors, anime reviews, loud noises, and arguments!

The boys start things off with a review and discussion on the very popular YouTube anime fan series “GOKU VS SAITAMA” by Etoilec1 Animations. The videos are insane and you should definitely check them out if you haven’t already. Also, Jamal gives us an explanation of how the narrative process for anime can change and alter from the original vision.

Everyone (except for Adam) is pumped for the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy game as it has the potential to be the greatest Harry Potter game of all time. The crew unanimously agrees that Quidditch must be included in the title in order for it to attain such an esteemed level of praise.

Chris gives us a rumor circulating around the PlayStation community, Wopeh wants every video game franchise to be made into a cart racer, Adam talks about popular cop-out Elden Ring complaints on the interwebs.

Welcome back, partners!

Banter this week is hot and heavy as it’s spearheaded by a Pokémon Johto League theme song flash mob. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are on the way and the guys couldn’t be more excited. This new generation’s starter Pokémon are looking to be the best collective group we’ve seen in a long time.

Do hardware patches exist? The guys may provide the answer to this very unnecessary question. Also, Chris can’t stop interrupting everyone else but it’s cool.

The Elden Ring fans in the crew are still in the early stages of the game at this point and therefore are still attempting to git gud.

This week’s Cowboy Bebop jam session is a recap of episodes 19 through 22. 30 Second Summaries are back and continue the trend of frantic explanatory chaos. We find out that episode 20 may be one of the best episodes of the entire series. Chris still can’t talk and it’s as unbearable as ever. Is there a shared universe between Bebop and Toy Story? The reveal may surprise you (probably not, honestly).

So practice up on your Pokémon equivalent of Spanish, find your closest site of grace, and get ready to rock that 10-gallon hat with your favorite space cowboys!
