The Otaku boys are back together to review and discuss the final four episodes of Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) Season 1.

But before they get into the anime, Adam tells his recent hospital story. The Demon Slayer game is elite and polished but this leads Wopeh and Chris to ask why we have not seen a game based exclusively on Dragon Ball (Not DBZ).

Adam blind reacts while Jamal proves that he’s the head writer of the anime. Wopeh is infatuated with spider demons. The Hashira arrive on the scene and our protagonists get swole.

That basically means they’re free-falling into the Spider-Verse because goodness gracious, are these episodes not for the arachnophobes in the audience. This one’s a gold mine of quality bits and hilarious moments. Tanjiro is now a fire bender and Shinobu shows off her skills after working at CVS for a decade. Rui’s Spider Family is by far this season’s most complex villainous faction and the Otaku boys aren’t afraid to give their thoughts.

WE ARE BACK (with an archived episode from last year). The boys discuss last year’s massive Nintendo Direct and, the lot of games that were presented. Have you experienced Nintendo’s abysmal online multiplayer service? These guys have. The crew dives deep into the extensive list of games that were shown by Nintendo and deem them worthy of being “cop-worthy” or hard passes. Jamal likes cards, so much so that he’s eager to get into Voice of Cards, a game where every single thing is a card. Chris is suuuuper pissed that Nintendo hasn’t given Gameboy Advance games to the masses in any capacity on the Switch. Adam NEEDS his Super Mario RPG. Wopeh is looking forward to the new Mario movie starring Chris Pratt (but why though?)

On this happy birthday episode of Otaku Street, the boys first discuss the blasphemy that is Wopeh and Jamal not having ever seen Titanic, Kill Bill, or Zombieland. Netflix operations at Adam’s house have come to a screeching halt. Chris for some reason stans Zenitsu heavy and the rest of the crew is all about Inosuke’s unorthodox methods. It’s Spooky Season and the Otaku boys are here to celebrate. This week, Chris, Adam and Wopeh are in the Halloween spirit. Scary games and moments in gaming are in the spotlight this episode. Adam and Chris judge Wopeh for avoiding horror games at all costs. Adam recounts a story of his selfish childhood gaming tendencies. Chris can’t stop saying “In any case…” and Adam’s had enough of it. Chris subtly gives the audience a very intriguing eel anatomy fact. If you’re brave (unlike Wopeh) and enjoy games like Resident Evil, Dead Space, Outlast, Five Nights at Freddie’s, Silent Hill or Bioshock then buckle up. On this week’s episode of Otaku Street, the boys ask themselves how in the world has Sonic the Hedgehog maintained his relevancy through the decades despite the travesties that have come forth in his name? They also run through the most recent PlayStation Showcase. What games does Insomniac even make? The Otaku crew has no clue. Demon Slayer steps back into the limelight with Tanjiro venturing into his first mission. Jamal can’t figure out what to do with his body and Adam gets sexy while spurting out long-winded spells from the anime. There’s a whole lot to unpack here, boys and girls. Word on the street, Otaku’s back with an all-new season of podcastin’. Season 2 is starting off with a bang as the boys talk about real-life changes and happenings, Riders Republic and Splitgate, as well as the next anime in the Otaku Street pipeline, Demon Slayer! There are some pretty eerie parallels between this show and the previous one, Joran, and the boys can’t help but talk about that. With Adam and Chris being the only two who hadn’t previously seen any of the show, what are their thoughts so far? And of course, the boys simply could not NOT talk about the long-awaited Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. It’s the Season 1 finale of Otaku Street coming at you live (not really) and the boys are all back together under one roof. The crew is wrapping up their watch along of Joran: Princess of Snow and Blood with a loaded show. Jin proves he is one blunt MF while Sawa and Rinko go head to head in a wild showdown. Hey, guess what? Someone in this show is alive when we were all confident they were dead. Hanakaze has her baby and Sawa promises to finish what she started BUT not all goes according to plan. An MCU-style end-credit scene pops up and gets the speculation pipes rattling on what’s to come for the future in the world of Joran. So kick the feet up and munch on your coagulated blue blood as Season 1 of Otaku Street comes to an end.

It’s the Return of the Woap as all the boys are back this week for another Joran double-header slug-fest. “Air Jamal” makes his debut and both Adam and Wopeh give a rundown of their experiences at the Beer Olympics (no shoulders were safe). On the anime side of things, Sawa meets Rinko, a brand new Nue executioner, and soon discovers she is both an absolute tank for alcohol but also a world-class assassin. This may be due to the insane wolverine-Esque claws she uses. Sawa finds out who really killed her family as we get a flashback where a whole lot of peeps lose their faces. The dynamic between Sawa and Jin is discussed as the Otaku crew asks ‘Why is Sawa still alive?’, ‘What’s her motive?’, ‘Would Rinko out drink all of them?’, and ‘Is Jin bird-man?’.
