  • Episode 27: Sarah Luiz, Founder of Positive Impact Entrepreneurs
Planet Driven Brands Podcast Sarah Luiz.
Sarah has many years experience in helping new businesses to develop in the sustainable space.
From engaging universities and the entrepreneurs of the future, Sarah has set up a collaborative system that encourages innovation and entrepreneurship.
And all with the aim of making a positive contribution.
Today we hear how the we are in an era of great collaboration but also one that is in need of systemic change, for which she argues passionately.
We also discuss waste and how innovation is shaping attitudes, which can make a difference and Sarah shares her admiration for brands such as Gousto and Hello Fresh whilst recounting an all-too-true tale of household waste created by Tesco's repeat ordering technology.
It's fascinating to hear Sarah describe how businesses will be formed in the future and also, a little worryingly, how the big corporates of today are managing to adapt.
    As she says
We are at a point now in the world, where even corporates are saying, OK, we can't innovate. We are too big to make the changes that we need to support these sustainability goals.
Sarah like all our panellists, is passionate not only about her role but the role everyone is playing in creating a better future.
Here, in Planet Driven Brands Podcast Sarah Luiz shares this passion and experience with us.
I think you'll love it and I certainly enjoyed the chat :)

  • Episode 24: Bobi Carley, Head of Media and Diversity & Inclusion Lead @ ISBA
Planet Driven Brands Podcast Bobi Carley.
Bobi is a highly experienced media and advertising professional who I have had the pleasure of knowing for over 25 years!
Bobi is now heading up media at advertisers representative group ISBA and most interestingly for us, she is also the lead on diversity and inclusion, which within the advertising industry has been a particular 'conundrum' for many years and has most recently been brought into clear focus with the publishing of the 'All In Census' which is a start in bringing the problem up close and personal.
Bobi's journey is fascinating as she describes taking on her role by accident and how, through monumental impacts such as George Floyd, it has taken over. She takes us through the work being done, the pushback and the work still to be done in an industry fashioned on a network, which can only be described as 'unhealthy' in its longstanding approach to diversity.
There is so much to do, but there are small steps happening which will affect big change.
She's excited that brands such as Nationwide, GSK and Mars have stood up to the challenge and is as excited by the collaborative approach, as she points out: "What's brilliant about inclusivity and diversity is the non-competitive element to it; that everybody, really genuinely, wants to work to change this industry!"
So true, I love it. Count me in as an advocate!!
Bobi's  like all our panellists, is passionate not only about her role but the role everyone is playing in creating a better future.
Here, in Planet Driven Brands Podcast Bobi Carley shares her passion and experience with us.
I think you'll love it and I certainly enjoyed the chat :)
