Planet FPL - The Fantasy Football Podcast

James catches up with Norwich City correspondent Mark Hammond to discuss the Canaries successful promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt. We discuss what's changed since The Canaries were relegated and why this Norwich with a similiar squad and the same manager may be very different to the one that went down. Will Daniel Farke be given funds to improve the squad and is the German he right man to take The Canaries forward? Familiar names in Aarons, Buendia, Cantwell and Pukki are debated... but will they all stay? Plus, the Premier League player on loan who has starred at Carrow Road and Mark shares his experience of attending football during covid...

And is James happy now that Mourinho is gone? What does it mean for the rest of Tottenham's season and the future?

James welcomes Tottenham correspondent Ricky Saunders to discuss Jose Mourinho, Daniel Levy, the prospect of Harry Kane leaving in the summer and Tottenham FPL assets ahead of their Double Gameweek.

Why is it so bad for Tottenham fans under Mourinho?

Is Daniel Levy at fault for Tottenham's recent decline?

Or should Tottenham fans be happy with a top 4 finish (though unlikely) still possible and a domestic Cup Final only 9 days away?

Could Kane stay? Is Heung-Min Son the more likely to leave?

Who is the third best Tottenham FPL asset for DGW32?

How many Tottenham players can be trusted to play both games in the double?

Plus James has some news about the Carabao Cup Final in this heart to heart chat between two fans who love their club...

James welcomes Wolves correspondent Bradley Parker and Sheffield United correspondent Ben 'Tommo' Thompson to discuss their clubs, their GW32 meeting and a season of disappointment.

Are there FPL prospects that can be considered from Wolves with four promising fixtures still to come? The difference in Wolves with a back four and back five and the awful first half record are discussed and is Nuno Santo to blame for much of the season's underperformance?

There are bench fillers who can be considered from Sheffield United but it's overlooked in the main and instead focus on the fallout of Chris Wilder's departure and what the future holds for The Blades who could be relegated on Saturday night...

On this weeks Sky Fantasy Football Podcast Suj & James review a weekend where things could easily have gone disastrously wrong for many with Tosin Adarabioyo and Dominic Calvert-Lewin no shows, Man City beaten and Bruno Fernandes and Harry Kane blanking on Sunday.

For James differential captains pulled through in Rui Patricio and Lewis Dunk and with two new signings both scoring well he's in to the top 50. Can the big prize still be won?

While for Suj, there was a big captaincy error that hurt...

Plus, captaincy and transfer thoughts for a week ahead that includes 11 consecutive days of Premier League football are covered and we discuss 'what if' scenarios, with suggestions of what to do if a designated captain doesn't play...

Suj & James review all the action from Gameweek 31 and with Wildcards played review what they may have done differently.

James makes his feelings clear on Tottenham assets ahead of their upcoming Double Gameweek while Suj delights in another squeeky bum win for West Ham for West Ham which featured another starring role for Jesse Lingard; but he's not the only Hammer creating interest for FPL managers...

Plus, looking ahead at captaincy in future Gameweeks, Leicester's fixture swing begins, rotation fears for clubs and assets still competing in Europe and every club assessed including a more pragmatic Leeds and why Burnley games continue to be open.

Last Wednesday the 12 hosting cities at this summer's rescheduled European Championships had to supply UEFA with information on how many fans they intend to let into their stadiums for the tournament. Four of those cities Bilbao, Dublin, Munich and Rome have not been able to make guarantees so could they be stripped of their right to host games? And if so could the UK host additional games?

There's information on potential travel to host cities and ticketing information that could be particularly important for Welsh fans ahead of potential trips to Baku in Azerbaijan.

Plus, the Podcast begins with thoughts on social media blackouts and Suj wants Jesse Lingard in England's squad but doesn't know who he would leave out in his place.

With hours remaining until the #FPL deadline Suj & James are on Wildcard and confirm their final drafts (subject to final team news).

Which of the premiums make it in?

How big a part will the fixture swing play in the final selections?

What is the impact of Tottenham's double in GW32 and their Blank in GW33.

Is consideration given to potential blank and double Gameweeks late in the season?

Plus James details the 7 teams who can't double if there is a Double Gameweek 35 or will blank if there is a Blank Gameweek 36 and why the doubles or blanks that could happen are not overly attractive...

On this weeks Sky Fantasy Football Podcast Suj & James assess a weekend where it was difficult to make ground and many suffered investing in Chelsea before West Brom hit them for five.

It's also a difficult weekend for captaincy with decisions likely to be split for Sky managers, preference is given for the Fulham and Wolves fixture, why the Man City team will influence decisions on Saturday, it's Bruno v Kane on Sunday but there are alternatives and many will go with Calvert-Lewin on Monday but James has alternative plans.

Plus, solutions for owners of the once again injured Michail Antonio and why investing in an Arsenal player player is still nagging away despite Saturday's woeful display against Liverpool. Will James still buy Aubameyang?
