Planet FPL - The Fantasy Football Podcast

On the first of two Clash of the Correspondents this weeks James is joined by Fulham correspondent Dara Curran and Nottingham Forest fan Mark Sutherns to discuss all the latest at their clubs and the potential for the FPL assets from their clubs.

It's only four goals conceded in 7 since the World Cup for Fulham. Are they now a more defensive side? And is a challenge for a European spot now a realistic target?

While Forest have more Premier League points in 2023 than any other club! Are they likely to pull further away from the relegation places or is a battle for survival still expected?

Plus, is Aleksander Mitrovic 100% fit or do concerns persist? Can Brennan Johnson continue his hot streak? Best defensive FPL assets discussed for two clubs who could cover Blank Gameweeks well and there's a sense check on Fulham's best eleven and Forest's transfer business...

Suj & James review all the Gameweek 22 games and all the relevant talking points which included Marcus Rashford rewarding the 500,000+ FPL managers who Triple Captained him.

Imagine a weekend where none of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester City scored, yep that happened and there's analysis of why all four had struggles. They weren't the only ones and there's pressure on the managers on Bournemouth, Leeds and Southampton after they also all failed to score as well.

Plus, there's focus on the next double with the top 2 set to face off next week, awareness of a potential Liverpool double gameweek and for James it was an emotional day as Harry Kane became Tottenham's all time record goalscorer...

*Please note this Podcast was recorded prior to the Premier League's charges against Manchester City for breaches of financial rules*

The much promised Chip Strategy follow up Podcast has landed! And as was the case 3 weeks ago James goes to town on what may have with potential postponed fixtures and likely future postponements that can aid in planning Chip Strategy.

But there looks like there will be many different ways to deploys the Chips this year and several different scenarios are discussed for those that have all their Chips remaining and for those who have already used some.

Plus, teams to target, teams that should remain conscious in our thinking and teams to avoid. There's coverage of what the outlook is likely to look like for Blanks and Doubles to come and what games we should be aware could suddenly be arranged at short notice and that may include a double for Liverpool in a blank.

Plus, ideas for the forthcoming GW22 and is now the right to time - for those who still have it - to activate the Triple Captaincy Chip...?

Tomorrow on Planet FPL: James presents his Ask James live stream at 9am (or 930am) GMT with an audio version to follow and then exclusive to YouTube he will also present The GW22 Deadline Stream Live at 530pm GMT.
