One of the biggest decisions you will make in your wedding planning is choosing your photographer. It’s not an easy decision to make, especially given the fact there are so many choose from. Go to any wedding fair you could see 3-4 at least. How do you choose then? What makes one better than the other? What questions should you be asking?

Do you have be an experienced wedding supplier to get booked by couples?

I would offer this advice to couples looking to book suppliers. Don’t be put off by a lack of experience. Remember we all have to start somewhere.

Judge suppliers on their work. When speaking to them do you feel at ease? Do you feel you can trust them? If you do, then their experience shouldn't matter.

When I first started I offered a reduce rate due to a lack of experience, I was then honest enough to say that was why I was cheaper.

So for couples you may save a lot of money by not going with the recommendation from your venue. If you do this with a handful of suppliers that saving will soon add up.

You must have lost track of the amount of people who’ve said to you “Your day will go so fast, make sure you take it all in”. You won’t appreciate how much of your day you will miss. All those special moments. The look on the groom’s face as walk into the room, your parents and grandparents seeing you walk day the aisle, all the little interactions between your guests, seeing children playing, laughing and enjoying themselves, seeing and hearing the speeches again, the cutting of the cake, your first dance and all those incredible moments which happen naturally that often get missed.
