With some of the world’s best men in our own backyard for the BMW Australian PGA at Royal Queensland and the 60 best women players in the world teeing up for a $4 million first prize at the LPGA’s CME Group Tour Championship in Florida it’s safe to call it a big week in golf. The PGA Tour are also in action at the RSM Classic in Georgia while the Asian Tour continues one of the game’s great traditions at the Hong Kong Open at the famed Fanling course at Hong Kong Golf Club.

The season ending DP World Tour Championship takes centre stage this week as Rory McIlroy attempts to win the yearlong race for the sixth time. Meanwhile, there is plenty of interest at home with Cam Smith teeing up in the Ford NSW Open at Murray Downs, the PGA Tour is in windy Bermuda for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, the LPGA tees off in Florida for The Annika presented by Gainbridge and the Asian Tour travels to Taiwan for the Taifong Open.

Golf fans have plenty to keep them interested this week as the DP World Tour kicks of its Finals Series at the Abu Dhabi Championship where Rory McIlroy is headlining. On other Tours the LPGA is in Hawaii for the LOTTE Championship, the PGA Tour heads to Mexico for the World Wide Technology Championship and the over-50s take centre stage in Sydney at the Nova Employment Australian PGA Senior Championship at Richmond.

An unusually light week on the world golf stage with the PGA Tour taking the week off but there’s still plenty of quality golf for fans to enjoy. At home, Cam Smith starts a four week run on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia in Brisbane at the Queensland PGA, while the LPGA makes the short trip from Korea to Japan for the Toto Championship and the Asian Tour continues their International Series at the BMI Indonesian Masters.

The rush to the end of the year has begun with golf in all corners of the globe this week. The Asian Tour is in Thailand for the International Series, the LPGA moves to Malaysia for the Maybank Championship and locally the Webex Players Series is in South Australia. Meanwhile, the world’s two biggest men’s circuits are also in Asia with the DP World Tour in Korea for the Genesis Championship and the PGA Tour’s ZOZO Championship in Japan.

The Australian Summer of Golf rolls on with the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia’s WA Open this week at Mandurah Country Club. But for those looking for golf entertainment in the wee hours there is no shortage of events. The PGA Tour is in Las Vegas for the Shriners Open, the DP World Tour heads to Spain for the Andalucía Masters, the LPGA continues their Asian swing in South Korea at the BMW Ladies Championship and the Asian Tour stages the Black Mountain Championship in Thailand.

A full complement of events greets golf fans this week, including at home in Australia. The WA PGA is in Kalgoorlie, while the PGA Tour heads to Utah for the first time since 1963, the DP World Tour is in Paris for the French Open, the LPGA tees up in China and the Asian Tour on the island of Macau for one of the circuit’s most fun events.

The DP World Tour continues to hold centre stage with this week’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns. If the seaside scenery gets too much for you the PGA Tour is in Mississippi and the Asian Tour plays its second consecutive event in Taiwan with the Mercuries Taiwan Masters, while the amateurs head to Japan for the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.

If you couldn’t get enough of the Solheim Cup you’re in for a treat as a good number of the combatants from Robert Trent Jones Golf Club are back in action this week at the LPGA’s Kroger Queen City Championship in Ohio. The DP World Tour is in England for their flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship, while the LIV season wraps up with the Teams Championship in Dallas.
