Please Don’t Send Me into Outer Space

Chocolate soda sounds like a bad idea, but hey! It wasn't that bad! But if that's real cocoa I'LL EAT MY HAT.

This week, we find ourselves in the control of a mad doctor whose only real goal is lady stealing. The Mad Ghoul, from 1943! The story of a man who can't seem to stop breathing toxic fumes by the order of his doctor. Dr. Morris only wants Ted's fiancee after all, is that so much to ask? And so what if a few people get murdered by a ghoul along the way? This Universal Horror is a quick 60 minutes, so take a look if you get the chance! Just be sure to leave a light on, and have your herbs ready!

Not safe for work, as we discuss the adult relationship between Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This week, we are joined by filmmaker Randal Kamradt to discuss the movie Alphaville from 1965. Imagine a future where emotions are outlawed and everything else is the same. No seriously, this movie is sci-fi because of a super computer and propaganda and that's about it. What one might assume is a darkly serious French noir actually seems rather silly when watching it. ART IS SERIOUS... sometimes. Please check out our guest's movies and support his current project at

Apologies for the sound quality. It was very late and I did not do a very thorough sound check.

Squirt: I guess I should have told the guest what was going on by Joel Torres, Aaron Cornelius, Sarah Roberts

This week, Sarah picked one of her favorite movies for us to watch. It's a movie with a VERY off putting title, but please give it a chance. Wristcutters: A Love Story is about a lost young man, who after committing the most heinous of actions, finds himself living pretty much the same as before; just a little crappier. He goes on a road trip to find his lost love, bringing his only friend, the moody musician, with him and picking up someone unexpected along the way. It's a movie about getting on with your life after giving up on your life. And it is FUNNY. Check it out if you are looking for something surprisingly light hearted!

This week, we barely talked about a movie we all enjoyed to one degree or another, that movie being Turbo Kid from 2015! Why you may ask, did we not talk about this gory post-apocalyptic 80's throwback awesomeness incarnate movie? Because we did not want to SPOIL IT for anyone! If you don't mind severed limbs and bloody explosions, we recommend you check out this movie right away (it is on Netflix Instant Watch in the US currently)!

This week, we solve the mystery of Zardoz by watching Zardoz, starring Sean "Zardoz" Connery. Imagine if you will the far off year of 21XX (I can't remember), far after the fall of society we know live in a world of violence and savagery. Only the true Godhead, that who is Zardoz, can provide us any comfort in these brutal times. And my comfort I mean guns and ammo. Perhaps one day we will join the host in the vortex, where we can eat as much green bread as we want. Please, join me know in second level meditation.
