In the far future, desperate human survivors send a brave soldier back in time to stop an AI attack that decimated the world. Using a time machine that switches two people’s places in time, the soldier returns to the year 2022, while a hapless goof is thrown into the dangerous future. With both men needing to adjust to their new environments, the mission is quickly thrown into disarray as the future soldier becomes too enamored with comfort and peace while the man from humanity’s past realizes he might inadvertently be the hero the world needs.
