In the ancient land of Gorkah, the people worship a pantheon of Gods who rule the various aspects of their realities. Chief among these are mighty Gorkanos, God of Shelter, chaotic Baak, God of the sea, and fair Neras, Goddess of wild beasts. Lesser in this pantheon is Nome, God of the sun and little else. Tired of his only role being raising and lowering the sun every day, Nome sets out on a selfish quest to increase his followers and take a higher place in Gorkah. How far will Nome’s divinity rise? And will the aid of Des, Goddess of despair, help him achieve his goal, or realize the truth of what it means to be a God?
