Christians have been given the Holy Spirit. However, He does not come empty handed, nor does He reside inactively. The Fruit of the Spirit is His luggage, and He is at work enabling the believer to use that which He brings. The first virtue is love and it is important to explore and exercise this fruit in order to live a life pleasing to God.

The presence of remaining sin is a reality for all Christians. However, the sin that remains is not to be tolerated but put to death. While this is a lifelong battle, the Bible gives clear commands and principles that lead to victory and not the steady state of defeat. An understanding of the nature of sin, the power of sin, and the Christian response to sin will help believers in their struggle against this most wicked foe.

Working is something everyone engages with on a regular basis. The Bible explains how the Christian is to think and feel about the task of work. How one thinks and feels will determine their actions in work and ultimately result in the way they reflect on their labors. The Christian work ethic does not stem from self-determination but rather self-realization knowing that work is to be done to the glory of God.
