Christmas Moments
The Pentecostals of Alexandria annual Christmas Concert with special surprise guest Jason Crabb.
In this the second message in our Christmas series Christmas Moments, Senior Pastor Anthony Mangun takes us to the birth of Christ and gives us a fresh perspective on the miracle of His incarnation. In Luke 1:37 the angel tells Mary that "with God nothing shall be impossible." Standing on this proclamation by the angel, he reminds us that God still deals in the miraculous. Whatever your need, whatever your situation. God is able - for nothing is impossible for God.

Rev. Kevin Cox does a playful juxtaposition of the faith required to believe in Santa Clause with the faith required to fully embrace the promises given to us in the Word of God. He continues his comparison by comparing the role of the shepherds at the birth of Christ with the shepherd (pastor) that each of us must have in our life - a great Christmas message!
An event that changed the world - the birth of Christ. What an inauspicious beginning for a king; yet, just as scripture says, His ways our not our ways. He chose a teenage girl of no fame or fortune to be the vessel that would give life to the Messiah. During this season, let us once again revisit the miracle of God manifest in the flesh.

Vesta Mangun brought to our attention the fact that ordinary things are extraordinary when given to God. We must learn to give all things to Him: our pain, our burdens, our worship, our thanksgiving. Nothing goes unnoticed no matter how grand or how small.
Through every season, every situation, every valley, every obstacle - the highs and the lows - we will rejoice. In Philippians, what Paul writes to the saints at Philippi is perfectly relevant to us today in 2020. The joy of the Lord is our strength! In all things, we will rejoice.
