When I wrote this poem I revisiting the past so much that was living in memories. I was ignoring the present, ignoring the opportunity to create more memories in these now moments.  The bigger message is to live every moment, cherish the memories and always strive to create new memories.

This is one of my favourite poems. I love the moon- it gives me this sense of peace and grounding.  The words of this poem explore the loneliness we all feel and know. The loneliness that we keep hidden behind a smile and the "I'm okay."
