This is one of my favourite poems. I love the moon- it gives me this sense of peace and grounding. The words of this poem explore the loneliness we all feel and know. The loneliness that we keep hidden behind a smile and the "I'm okay."
Through the challenge of life lose the ability to hear our beat. Listen and discover your beat, your vibe, your rhythm and the power of you.
I was having one of those weeks. Lost in my own thoughts, trapped in the endless fog of the 'not good enough', 'not worthy enough' and the old 'what am I doing'.
So here's what I did to turn the 'unplanned' into an opportunity of insight, growth and 'the new'.
I wrote this in a time of so much uncertainty in my own world. I was wandering through the crevices of my own being, digging deep into my broken.
How often do you tell yourself that you like yourself? For me, it is rarely if ever- I tell others it all the time but never myself. I watch people light up with joy when I tell them- so what would happen if I told myself "hey, I like you!", every day, every hour for a week. I would light myself up, feel myself awaken with inner strength and power. We should try it.
Overpower your ‘sometime’ with the strength and determination of ‘all the time’.
