Big news from our own backyard first. Ainsley May and Ben D M Z are launching a new weekly Friday residency here in Ibiza — Rendez-Vous, at Maison Le Vrai, formerly known as Laïla, in Marina Botafoc. Pacha has landed in New York — permanently. The iconic Ibiza institution has opened its first permanent North American home, christening the space over three nights with Solomun, Michael Bibi, and Black Coffee. The venue sits in the old Brooklyn Mirage footprint, and by all accounts the cherries made the journey intact. A big moment for the brand, and a significant one for New York's club landscape.

Also on the Ibiza radar — 528 Ibiza is set to fall between worlds with its latest Brunch Electronik collaboration. Details are still emerging on that one, but the pairing of 528's otherworldly setting with the Brunch Electronik concept is one to watch.

Nocturna's opening night is here, in collaboration with Xtra Isabella, with Mia Moretti and more on the bill. Season beginnings matter on this island, and Nocturna's arrival adds another strand to what's shaping up to be a strong summer.

Davide Squillace has relaunched his independent imprint This And That Lab, marking the return with a new single called 'You Don't Know Me.' The relaunch ends what the announcement describes as a four-year hiatus for the label. Good to have it back. The track is excellent and should go a long way.

Marco Carola pulled off one of the most talked-about moments of the Ibiza season last Saturday at Pacha's Flower Power night. The artist synonymous with driving Minimal and Tech-House completely stepped away from that world and entered a different musical universe entirely — a striking departure from the sound that defines his Music On residency. Safe to say, no one saw that coming.

MANUMISSION is teasing more secrets ahead of its long-awaited return to Ibiza. Details are still emerging, but the legendary party's comeback is clearly building momentum.

Over to Paris — the Techno Parade is back, and this year's edition has a big theme. The association Technopol has announced it's dedicating its 2026 return to Detroit, the birthplace of techno. After more than two years of absence, the parade rolls through the streets of Paris on September 19th. Mark it down.

HAAi is moving fast. Less than a year after releasing HUMANiSE in 2025, the Australian producer and DJ has announced a brand new album called DIGITiSE, due October 9th on Mute. A lead single of the same name is already out. The project apparently started as a remix of HUMANiSE but took on a life of its own during the creative process.

Tomorrowland is expanding its Shanghai festival into a two-day experience this October. It's the third edition of the China event, and clearly the appetite is there to grow it.

Tomorrow night, ANTS brings Eats Everything to Ushuaïa, while Flower Power at Pacha has Roger Sanchez and Nic Fanciulli. Claptone's The Masquerade lands at Chinois with Deep Dish, Diego San Diego and Jack Tennis. Sunday is stacked — Universe has Carl Cox, WhoMadeWho in hybrid mode, Ben Sterling and Anna Tur. Solomun goes all night long at Pacha. Pyramid at Amnesia features Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, Adrian Mills and Amelie Lens. And out at Playa Soleil, it's the Bora Bora Opening Party from NuSun with Hernán Cattáneo on an extended set, Guti live, Lum and Bohem live. A serious weekend.

Music On at Pacha on June 19th delivered what many Ibiza nights promise but few actually pull off — a fully realised dancefloor experience. Marco Carola's long-running night combined a heavyweight lineup with a packed room and a carefully constructed musical arc that's being called one of the most complete club experiences of the summer so far.

Sad news from Berlin. Bob Young, the man behind 90 Grad and GMF, has passed away. Young was a defining force in queer nightlife in 1990s Berlin, shaping spaces that became genuinely important to the city's club culture.

In Paris, J.A.W Family is marking twenty years, and co-founder Thomas Vermynck has been speaking about what's kept the collective grounded across two decades. His framing says a lot: the goal, he says, has always been to honour and celebrate the music and the artists rather than claim them for themselves.

Over in the UK, Campo Sancho Festival has announced its full lineup for its ninth edition, returning to Walkern Hall in Hertfordshire from the 23rd to the 26th of July. The boutique event from London underground pioneers Sancho Panza has quietly built one of the more distinctive spots in the UK festival landscape, and founders Jim Angell and Matt Brown have been talking DIY culture and what makes the thing tick.

A premiere worth your ears — George Privatti has put his hands on Sanchez UK's track Duro for the Time Bandits label, and by all accounts he goes hard on it. Name of the remix, name of the approach.

Club Chinois runs a Defected Night with DJ EZ, Hannah Wants, James Poole, Murphy's Law, and Phill de Janeiro. Cova Santa has Gala by Ibán Mendoza with Hosh, Ibán Mendoza, Audera, and Julia. O Beach brings Todd Edwards, Wideboys, and Beyond Chicago among others. And at Akasha over at Las Dalias garden, Queen Omega & The Royal Souls headline alongside Damiano von Erckert and DJ Schowi.
