Dr Cruse discusses the updated numbers of confirmed cases for PA, and explains how the backlog of testing has started to ease.  He explains why universal masking is important and elaborates on how we should treat pets, especially if there is a Covid patient living in the house with them.  Dr Cruse also elaborates on why certain medicines that might seem like promising treatments for the disease will need clinical trials before they are approved for use, and how important it is to discuss medications with your doctor before taking them. 

Dr James Cruse, Medical Director for Wayne Memorial Community Health Center discusses the hospital's use of tele-medicine, and the benefits of allowing physicians to interact with patients via video and audio calls.  The hospital and its offices are increasing the use of masks and protective gear for staff and patients, and Dr Cruse explains what masks are appropriate for which wearers.
