Jon Amtrup, that's me your podcast host, got the opportunity to sail as skipper on the Greenpeace high latitude sailingboat Witness, the former Pelagic Australis, this autumn. With scientists and campaigners we sailed from Bergen to Svalbard in the same area the Norwegian government desperately want to start deep-sea mining. Than we documented glacier melting around Ny-Ålesund before we returned to mainland Norway. We even managed a quick lunch-stop in Lerwick, Shetland.
