Many of us are building monuments to ourselves, often times without realizing it. We boast about what we're given, bemoan the hardships we face, all with the the intent of focusing attention on ourselves and away from God. We know that pride goes before a fall, and that God gives grace to the humble. In this message, Pastor Steve will show us how to know if we are indeed building monuments to ourselves, how to break them down, and how to return our focus on the Lord Jesus.

Is speaking in tongues a divine language or blasphemous babbling? What is the role of tongues in church, according to the example of God's word? Pastor Steve walks us through the charismatic gifts in this episode of Second Sundays.

You can have true life through the resurrected Savior! He overcame death and rendered it powerless. Praise God for He is risen!

Are you enduring a season of suffering? You aren't alone. God often uses pain to draw us to Himself and to carry out His good and perfect will in and through it. In this message, we'll take a look at the sovereignty of God and how He works miraculously in our lives even through utter devastation. We will also hear special testimony from one of our congregation how God works things out in times of devastation, and that He is trustworthy even through tears.

Do you have a fatalistic view of God's sovereignty? Do you just pray and "hope for the best," resigned to the idea that God's gonna do whatever He wants no matter what you do? While God is indeed in control, He may be calling you to take action to carry out His will in Creation. Find out how to know what that is!

TechMin's Chris Brown has developed an Internet Safety course designed to help families and churches have an understanding of the importance of guarding your heart and protecting your mind with the technology culture around us. Chris walks through the overwhelming technology-saturated world we live in and its effects on us, then discusses where the real problem comes from and how the battle is really inside our hearts against sin. Chris then helps listeners create some boundaries and offers tools and explains resources to help.

How do you pray? Prayer is an amazing and wonderful privilege that God gives us. He truly desires for us to have an intimate relationship with Him. He asks us to come to Him with the desires of our hearts, and sometimes that means being real and raw, crying out in desperation to Him.

"Read your Bible." Seems like an overly simplistic answer to much of the important questions of our lives. But why do we read? What is the point of searching scripture? What do you personally expect to find when you read the Bible? Pastor Aaron is back for part two of his mini-series "It's All About Jesus." This Sunday morning, let's take a look at how everything in God's holy word points back to His Son, Jesus Christ.

Ever wonder how much you contribute to your own salvation? What you've been saved out of is a great indicator. Just like we were completely dead in our trespasses, Jesus paid our debt completely, so He's the star of our show. What do we do with the truth that it's all about Jesus?

If you've ever been insulted, attacked or slandered, you know the feeling of desiring revenge. Typically, our first reaction is to strike back, and unload on our offender. While it may satisfy us in the short term to exact our own brand of vengeance, this is not the way God superintends justice. This Sunday, we will see how we can "turn the other cheek" and humbly entrust ourselves to Him, because He judges justly.
