Sometimes the most fundamental questions about life and existence are the ones we're the least comfortable asking. For example, what happens when you die? And if you're saved, do you have to think about it anymore? What awaits us in the afterlife? Pastor Aaron Bolduc talks through these topics in light of what Christ has done.

In Charles Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol," we meet a character named Tiny Tim. Crippled and ill, and without hope for recovery or healing, Tiny Tim's bleak future is sure to be marked by struggle and pain, barring a serious divine intervention. This Sunday, we will meet a figure in 2 Samuel whose situation is not unlike that of Tiny Tim's, and we will also see parallels with how sinful man is mired in hopelessness. While we still suffer from the fall, because of Jesus Christ, we are welcome to the riches of God's table!

How do you worship? Do you stand and raise your hands, or do you bow in adoration? Where is your heart? Last week we saw how lack of obedience in worship was fatal. This Sunday we will see how inseparable our obedience is from sincerity. God knows our hearts with every step we take and every word we say. How can we be sure to honor Him? Our sincere worship declares that there is nothing of greater value than the Lord in our lives.

Ever done something for someone, thinking they'd love it, but the response was not what you had hoped for? We do this to God when our love for our traditions outweighs our love for His commands. We will look at one instance in God's word where a well-intentioned action was still disobedience, and what we can learn from it.

The Christian life is not always easy. In fact, Scripture speaks regularly about the trials we will face, simply because we are Christians. However, Scripture always includes the blessed truth that God never leaves our side, thanks to the Holy Spirit. But how do we withstand the everyday tests life throws at us? The key is genuine faith.

Have you ever anticipated something for so long, you begin to think it's never gonna happen? And the ups and downs in the circumstances of life begin to cloud our view of God's promises? How do you keep your faith? David was promised amazing things and in this message, we'll see how He kept his faith for years waiting on God. Listen and hear!

We are encouraged by this world to take pride in our position or the things we accomplish. Because of that self-focus, we tend to take pride in every victory, get anxious when things look bleak, and get depressed when we lose our position. As Christians, we can have peace in our positions, knowing that if we follow God's leading and guidance, we can remember that He works things together for good in his sovereignty. Pastor Steve continues our series in 2 Samuel with the incredible story of Joab, the mistake he made taking matters into his own hands, and how we can avoid similar mistakes.

God, in His amazing grace, forgives the greatest debts owed by those bringing a heart of repentance. Did you know there is a key to forgiving others as well as being forgiven?
