  "It's a very, very nature based book and also based in a time and a place that deserves really good reading because there's a lot of southern accents from, I guess there was Kentucky, there was a couple of others, and she just nailed it. And it just brought everything so alive."

  "And there's so many levels to this book that I think the author really enjoyed writing from, because she wants you to be in a little bit of shock and a little bit of taboo areas, but she wants you also to consider. You know, when you engage with people, you get only one level first. And then when you get to know them, it's really that experience of un. Packing the complexity of every human psyche."

  "And every time she discovers something, it goes into the history of where that book is and where it ex in the periods, in what period of Jewish history and well, of history and where it finds itself according to what is happening to the Jewish people at that point. It's just such a beautiful, magnificently written thing and I truly, honestly think that everybody should read it."

  "Oh, this is a very easy one. I strongly believe that everybody should read the Godfather. I know for a fact that most people have only watched the movie, but frankly, the book, like all books, are much better than movies. The book is an absolutely fantastic book. Highly recommend that we should all read this together because I think we're going to have a lot of perspectives. So Godfather is my recommendation."

  "So I think that Jen offers just this sense of messiness and unpredictability and big feelings attached to these identities of sexuality. I think it's a really, really profound book because of this. It's fun. It's also so unpredictable because you don't know what initially, you don't know what the intention is. You're kind of like going, ooh, this is so naughty that Greta's doing this. And she's happening into spaces where she's actually meeting the voices behind the transcriptions."

  "It's at the crosshairs of, you know, deep psychology, but also just societal, you know, norms like, do people feel ashamed to talk about things that are uncomfortable for them? And that's half the hurdle in these rooms. But the women tend to be way more verbose than the men. I think, in general, this author definitely opens up a world that a lot of us have never been in."
