  "So every day I strive to die a little bit more in my flesh so that I can become more righteous in Him. So, of course, we are born in a sin nature, and we have an inherent sin nature. So every day we fall short. I fall short every day. Every thought that I think is not godly, every deed that I do is not godly, every feeling that I experience, every emotion that I experience is not godly. Every thought that I have is not godly."

  "Hi, Lisa. Good prompt. So I will say that I am more godly than worldly. And yes, I. I am a Christian, but I'm not saying this to say that I'm some sort of super Christian, super saint or anything like that, but I believe that you have to be. Well, for me, I have to be more godly than worldly. Because if I just lived by what I saw in this world, forget it. I couldn't do it."

  "And I'd like to know people's responses as well, because I do know, and I know people in my lifetime that would say, oh, well, I'm, I'm very godly. I do this, I do this and I do this. And again, that's a fair, that's a fair opinion. That's a fair statement. I, but I also read in the Bible that we are the fruit of our spirit."

  "And then he feels really remorseful and really anxious that we no longer like him. And so then we have to like, encourage him that, no, we like you, but you can't do that. And so we have to work with him on that. And it just reminds me how we are, you know, when no one likes scourging or rebuking, it's not fun at all. But there are times when we need it."

I mean you have nothing to lose anymore. You are at the lowest phase of your life. Imagine being at the bott any deep lake. You have lost people, you have lost faith, you have lost even yourself, your ego. You have lost everything."

  "She was in perfect health and she fell down the stairs and hit her head and she died. And he's in shock. And mourning. So Lord, just thank you for him, help him and be with him and the whole family through this very tragic time. In Jesus name, amen. So it's just something how you're going along and something like that happens. So. But he is going to church and he does have a Bible and he's reading it."

  "Now admittedly, you know, I went through tremendous loss myself in the last couple of years, you know, with divorce and financial issues and you know, being in my 40s and living at home to try to rebuild full transparency. So. And it's been difficult to deal with at times, I'll admit. But I think with suffering does offer a chance to grow and to learn and if nothing else, find out who you are at your core, you know, how you handle adversity."

  "But I get why some people, and I've even heard some people say that who aren't necessarily believers, that, you know, the Bible and going to churches, just hearing messages does help them out as well. You know, they see it as it's, you know, stories to kind of help them get their mind right and kind of refocus on how to be a better human being."
