"Ask it what it's afraid of or how it feels. Ask it what it needs, what can you provide for it? And again, just like you would with a friend or a child or somebody that you care about, give it what it needs, listen to it, have a conversation with it. And in doing this, you're going to open up a new felt sense which will make it significantly easier to create that new habit."
