"Run for Congress. That's something I really, really want to do, but haven't done it yet. Maybe I should start at the local level, work my way up. But yeah, I would love to get into politics. I would love to see how far I can go. An unknown person running for an office that really basically have no idea what she will be doing, however she believes."

"Hey Shelly, this is a great topic and this is going to be weird, but I want to work a drive through window at a restaurant. I have never worked in fast food, so to speak. And so I would like to work the drive through window at a fast food restaurant for a couple of hours, like during, during the slow part of the day, like three to five o' clock or something."

"I believe being kind and honest are equally as important. It all depends on the tone of the context of the conversation. If they're asking for advice, you can kindly say to be honest and go that route, or just be honest. That usually fixes the conversation, because no one likes somebody that sugarcoats the truth just to make somebody else feel better. It's better to have that honest friend who you can count on to give you what's really the reality of the situation."

"I was able to do all the things because I wasn't trying to squeeze it into just three or four days. So I checked off actually going away for a whole week or being in a one, you know, away location for a week. And so now the next thing would be to go away for a whole month. And it's funny that this prompt is out here because one of my friends on social media just got back from a month long trip overseas."

"And I think it is kindness to be honest. I think at the end of the day, I may not like what you said to me, right? Let's say I'm dating someone and he comes to me and says, you know, Ang, I don't really see us having a future. Let's just stop seeing each other. I may not like what he said because I might really like him and thought we had a future, but I definitely appreciate his honesty."

"But then there's been times when I just flat out don't care and just speak my mind, but I know the person that I'm speaking to can handle it. You know, I asked out of everybody, please, like, if you have to pick over kindness and truthfulness when talking to me, please be truthful. Okay? I don't take things to heart unless I'm told, oh, don't take this to heart."

"What would happen if you could download your memories into a searchable spreadsheet? Well, Shelly, first of all, I love this prompt. And then two, because I'm an Excel queen, this is right up my alley. I think this is a good idea. And the reason being is because for some reason, the human brain skews to the negative. We can remember the bad times, the bad things, and that sometimes clouds the good memories."

  • @radiantminds3 | Do you believe in karma?

"When good arrives, I meet it with gratitude and purpose, not magical thinking. When hard things happen, I meet them with support and meaning making, not self blame. For me, believing karma means believing my actions ripple through nervous systems, relationships, communities. If my presence leaves people safer, seen and resourced, that's the kind of karma I want circulating. If what I shared resonates with you, try a one day practice."

  • @ro_DIAMOND_ugh | Do you believe in karma? Intentional Moral Actions or Karmic Capitalism
Click here to reply to @ro_DIAMOND_ugh

"But the word itself, as far as how it's used today and in the world I live in and, yeah, just how I've seen it used in my everyday interactions. No, I do not believe in karma. I think in this western, like, society, it's become a karmic capitalism, you know, doing good to get good. And I think it's funny how, like, people will believe in karma but don't believe in reincarnation. Okay."
