"I never want to live in a world where I don't feel that my body, I can do what I want with it. But what my son said, the research I did, the human sacrifice is pretty bold. If I could do it all over again, I would have struggled through had my parents helped me and I would have had a 33 year old, a girl or a boy. But I am not pro life. I am pro choice."

"Gandhi, inspired by the Sermon on the Mount, sought not redemption from consequences, but transformation of the self, showing future generations the power of inner change to ripple outward into societal transformation. Lincoln's leadership during America's darkest hours reminds us that moral courage in times of division can define a nation's soul. For centuries, Buddha and Jesus spoke of compassion and awakening, inviting us to cultivate inner peace amid external cowards."

"But we tithe and even give offerings which is above a tithe. And God has blessed us and taken care of us. There was a time my husband didn't think it was possible to be debt free anymore. Oh, I guess it's not possible. I'm not putting him down, I'm just saying. What I'm saying is God has blessed us beyond what we really thought would happen, to be honest with you."

"How do you think future generations are going to remember us? I think the first thing that came to my mind is hunching over screens and I think that is something that the generations in the future are going to remember us by. And it is really sad because, you know, it is a lot of times it is a human connection that is sacrificed when we are, you know, doing screen time and it is essentially we are losing out on that."

David Hume the voice of the heart. You cannot sail with reason as guide alone. The wind that fills the moral tide is in our hearts."

"I think that reframing our words, the way we talk to our children, maybe you don't have anxiety, maybe you have anticipation, maybe you have a little nervousness using words that are more acceptable to the situation as opposed to just mass blanketing anxiety. Anxiety has become like hope and sadness anxiety. And it's the same with depression."

"How do we heal our sin? We apply the blood of Jesus to get rid of it. That's the proper way to get rid of it. And then we're free. We're free. We're free. We're free from our sin. Remember, as a believer, you will never be judged for your sins. You're going to be judged for your reward. How did you live? On the foundation of Jesus Christ? Is there gold?"

  • @arunanandarao | Should we search for meaning or create meaning?
Click here to reply to @arunanandarao

"Searching for meaning suggests that there is something out there, external, perhaps universal, that gives purpose to our lives. It is a journey of discovery, of looking to philosophy, religion, nature, or even connection with others to illuminate something foundational. This search can be grounding. It reminds us that we are part of something bigger. On the other hand, creating meaning is empowering. It puts us into the driver's seat of our own narratives. Life doesn't hand out instruction manuals."
