Seriously, what was up with Doc this episode? He sounded like a gosh darn lunatic! A raving mad man! A silly silly goose (I stole that from Brill. This is goblin btw, im just the worst. A useless pile of doodoo. I should be the doodoo goblin, not eddy goblin.)

Strahd von Zarovich is DnD's most notorious villain of 5th Edition. Touted as being the "most human" and diabolically interpersonal villain you can run against an adventuring party, Strahd's roots run deep to the very beginnings of Dungeons and Dragons. By all accounts, he's tabletop Dracula, and he's here to stay.

But with the boom of Ravenloft fandom from 2016's Curse of Strahd adventure, how much does Strahd live up to the hype? While trapped in his own Domain of Dread known as Barovia and torn between identities of tragedy and triumph, this decaying edgelord needs something new from the Dungeon Master to really have an effect on the player.
