The intro has a weird panning issue with one host way left. I think your genre is too wide. If I was a die-hard sports person I would've been bored. There were a lot of opinions here. I would've loved some stats to argue over. I loved the credentials at the beginning and you did a good job of introducing everyone and getting to the content. The introduction of the content was a bit long. Not sure we need all that back story. The audio is OK, and everyone seems to have the same volume. Whoever is holding their mic STOP and get a stand. That was annoying. Do that BEFORE you press record. As this was your fifth episode, it's not too bad. Figure out the topic and points you want to cover and see if there are different opinions. If you all agree that is going to be boring. So not a horrible podcast, but your topics need focus, and I think your audience will get confused with such a broad range of topics.

For me, taking financial advice from a source that is using a free resource... hmm. The audio volume is way low, and the one guy is always WAY louder than the other guy, I would recommend getting a microphone for each of you (NOT the Blue Yeti see the Gear Guide at http://www.podcastrodeoshow.com/podcast-gear/). Your energy is pretty low. I don't expect you to scream, but you guys are mellow. Very mellow. I thought starting off talking about the current state of the market was a mistake because it's not evergreen. For me, I tuned into to hear about your picks. Why not just get to those and explain how you normally go over last week's picks, but there weren't any.  I would advise you to think about your "why" and "Who" you are talking to and fine-tune your content. For the first episode, it's in the can and for that I applaud you, but there is room for improvement. Let me know how I can help.

The audio on this show starts off good and goes downhill pretty quickly. The music is too loud when the host starts talking, and the host is repeating exactly what the voice-over person just said. That's is an easy fix, just fade the music out when you start talking. Also, you and your guests all sounded like either you were way too far away from the microphone, or you were using a Blue Yeti improperly. The audio has reverb in it. The problem is there is so much reverb/room noise it's distracting from what is being said. Make sure you know how to use your equipment, and do some work with your guest to make sure they are using the best microphone they have. I realize we have almost no control over your guests, but you do have control over your audio. Make sure you as the host sounds good. People will tolerate a guest sounding bad, but when everyone involved sounds bad, people will tune out.

Your introduction of your guests was "tell us about yourself." This is awkward. You know your audience. You know your guests. Tell the guests what the topic is for the episode any why these people are qualified to talk about it, and then get to the topic (building professional relationships). We don't really care about the "Story" of the guests until they gives us something valuable. What is the question that only these guests could answer? Get to the topic that is going to really connect with your audience and will help them be better leaders. We don't need so much back story.

The audio was fine and you got right to the point. This podcast is geared toward female athletes. I'm not one of those so when you started off with "Have you ever felt like..." I hadn't. Later when you said, "When you feel like you're not in the groove cause you're setting a new pace" that again did not resonate. This doesn't mean its bad, it means I'm not your target audience. The audio sounded fine. You are reading as (and this sounds weird) and for me, it was too perfect. Your voice was full of inflection, but for me, I prefer the "dinner table test" which is to say you would sound the same at the dinner table as you do on the podcast. This wasn't a deal-breaker, but for me, I prefer people to talk to me than to read to me (unless its a news show). That again is an opinion from a middle-aged white dude. I'm not sure if I was reviewing this (with my reviewer hat on) I would notice that.

The other thing you did slightly is you started to tell a story about how you feel waiting for the GPS to kick in. Go deeper with the vulnerability and tell your audience about a time when you felt you couldn't do something and then did it. Your audience will mirror your ability to be vulnerable. If you want them to share, then you need to be the example (plus they then get to know you a bit).

So the show seems fine, but for me, it just didn't resonate (and that may very well be because I'm not a female athlete). As I don't find that advice helpful, I made a bonus video for you at https://www.bonjoro.com/r/5f4a2b10-036a-4817-b266-0f71cd734518 where I noticed you make it somewhat harder than it needs to be to subscribe to your show.

This show kicks off with no introduction. I have no idea where I am going, or why we are talking about fear.  My brain is trying to figure out where we are going while at the same time trying to listen to the podcast. If you had given my some information upfront on the show, who is it for, where we are going and why we are going to talk about fear today, I could've just listened. The audio wasn't bad, but I did hear a phone vibrating in the background.

Number one, the people that support you on Patreon are called patrons. They're not called Patreons.

I'm going to give you a bonus tip in Apple podcasts your website is linked to your spreaker website.

Everything we just heard is a great conversation to have before you press record. Get it ready and then go live.  I heard one of the hosts interviewed on another show and they said you like to set a limiter to minus two and then turn the gain up. Picture the limiter as a brick wall.  The more you crank that gain, it's like how hard are you going to hit the brick wall? Eventually that will just destroy whatever hits the brick wall because you send it at the brick wall 100 miles an hour.

The best thing you can do is to record at a decent level.

The beginning doesn't have to be a big production thing. You can just say, This show is brought to you by our patrons." Then get rid of

The female host is way too far away from the microphone. It's literally just mic technique. Point your microphone at the corner of your mouth, get about three fingers away and stay there.

At the intro of the show instead of the guy who we can't hear,  why not explain what the show is about?

There are book editors. There are many magazine editors. There are television editors. There are movie editors. There are newspaper editors. You get the idea. Why you feel you are everything out of your mouth is gold is a bit confusing. 95% of the beginning of your show needs to go on the editing floor. It was a good conversation to have before you pressed broadcast. If you're going live you should have a clear idea of what you're going to talk about. You don't want to "wing it" in front of people. The more planning, the less editing. The less planning, then more editing.

You mention your patrons. If you want people to give you money, you need to deliver value. You need to honor their time.

If the goal of the show is to have fun with your friends, then you're successful. Enjoy your friends. Enjoy those relationships. Just realize that not every conversation needs to be syndicated to all ends of the earth.

I love how this starts off explaining who the show is for, rolls into an attention setting fact (1000 books published when your book is launched) and you have a cool shortlist to help you avoid the pitfalls so I know exactly what I'm getting into. You drop some street cred on being the longest-running show and we are right into the content. The bottom line is when I pressed stop, I wanted to keep going. This show also show there was some thought put into this. You're doing a great job of talking to one person, but if you're reading this, it didn't sound like it.

    Opinion

I'm a middle-aged white guy living in Ohio, so I don't have a lot of exposure to the drag scene. I liked this show

    1. The opening lets me know what the show is about
    2. You shared a story about your favorite movie, and how it ties in with the theme of the show.
    3. Your commercial was short, and fit your audience.
    4. The space is awesome - no fluff, no weather talk, right to the content. - Love it.

    5. Things You Could Improve On

Your episode titles have the name of the show (not needed) and the phrase "Episode xxx" also not needed, but if you MUST put in episode numbers, put them at the end as you're cutting off the important words.

      http://podcastreviewshow.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/titles.png" alt="Bad Episode Titles" width="559" height="128" />

When I went to your website you had no show notes for episode 2. There was no link to the movie your mentioned or your sponsor.

The Anchor website is, well, you got what you paid for. Check out Podpage or Podcastpage as these make it super easy to put in your RSS feed, and it spits out a great looking, easy to use website.

Think of your target audience. What are they going to type into a search field to find a show about Drag Queens? While Snack Size may have a following in the twin cities, that may not be the case across the world (yet). Instead of Snack Size: the podcast what about "snack size: Short Advice from a Drag Queen" you need your keywords in your title.

      Thanks for your order.

This is kind of a catch 22. It's about your life, but you're locked in doors (so you life is somewhat boring). I was interested to hear about COVID life in Spain, but also was somewhat "Ugh, more COVID talk." You spent a fair amount of time apologizing for the previous show (just go fix it and replace the audio) and get to the good stuff. I also wonder if you feel like people know you already from YouTube. Speaking of that, your website in Speaker is set to your Spreake website (not you gowilgeese.com). You did start off with "Hey Guys" and that is group speak. talk to one person. So this was a "I don't hate it, but it didn't really reach out and grab me," kind of situation.
