I was ready to hear about traveling the world with this COVID-19 everywhere. Where do we go from here? Instead of answering that question he spent some time playing "What time is it there?" (we don't care) and then told me a bunch of things I already knew such as:- There are updates on the virus in what seems like every 15 minutes (we know this)
- They closed down sports in the US (everyone knows this).
Your first question is what has happened? Unless your target audience lives under a rock, I think we all have some idea of what is going on. You might've gone into what the disease is, and why it's so important old people don't get it. For me, I was looking for specific information about this disease and travel. You may have got into it later in the episode, but you have to hold my attention.You also assume I know you. You had mentioned how the disease wouldn't affect you as you're not old. How old are you? Always remember your brand new listeners (which you did a GREAT job of welcoming them at the beginning of the show).
Think of your target audience. They are empty-nester parents with retirement money to spend, and they want to know if they can go anywhere. If they can't, maybe do an episode on how to plan the next trip once it's safe.

In the words of Valerie Geller, "There is no such thing as too long, only too boring" and if it's not boring, keep it in the episode. If the emails are good read them. Then when you get to the interview you introduce the show (again), and start to talk about how you're interviewing four people (again). Grab me by the throat with something that makes me go WHOA!, and then later tell me how to avoid the pain you just mentioned. You took about three to four minutes to really grab my attention. You do a lot of group talk (Hey e-tribers), for me I like to talk to one person as there was nobody else but me listening in my room. Also, why should I listen to you? Who are you and why should I listen (you might want to mix in a credential or two).I did want to hear the rest of the episode, but for me, the audio was bothering me. I also would explain what the show is as "the dash" isn't super obvious (once it's explained it does, but it requires an explanation). I would also put the podcast on Rudy's website and direct traffic back to his website to help promote whatever band has is working with (He's been in Quiet Riot, Ozzy, Dio, Whitesnake, and many more). I had to give it the buzzer due to audio quality. There isn't anything majorly wrong with this show, it just needs tightened up. For example, I know you're excited about the new co-host but this could've gone toward the end of the episodes as the title about Peleton got me to click and you took four minutes to get to it. The introduction of the co-host was a little lose (get the titles secured before turning on the mic) but all in all not bad. The question is would I keep listening as I was curious what you had to say. It was weird that you explained the ad, and then played it (why not one or the other?).On a side note you are using a very old version of the Libsyn podcast page. Contact their support and ask how to upgrade (or set up your feed to look at the adweek website).

This is not the case for this podcast. It moves at a decent pace, and everyone is "all in" on their characters and keeping the show moving. You shared some insights into who made the movie without going full movie nerd mode, and I got my answer pretty quick (should I go see this?) fairly quick. I appreciated it. The only thing I would fix is to edit out the umms, the lips smacks and the air conditioner in the background. Your audio wasn't horrible, but these are super easy fixes. There is a tool in audacity that you can use to remove the noise (don't go too far with it), and editing out ums and lip smacks are also as easy as editing a word document (highlight and press delete). You did start off with "hey guys" and I would avoid group speak. It might be "hello, welcome to Rose reviews" as you're not talking to a group. You want to talk to one person. All in all a good podcast.
