The church and its elders are served by qualified deacons who follow the example of Jesus as they meet practical needs.

The church is to be led by a plurality of qualified elders who are examples in humble service as they: guard doctrine, teach, shepherd, admonish, administer church discipline, and pray for the sick.

The gospel is the central, historical pronouncement about what God has done for us in Christ. If the Church strays from the gospel, it is not longer the Church.

The Church is the loving family that we need and that the world needs. Through receiving Jesus, we are given entrance into this family that prioritizes one another well and enjoys close relationship with one another.

God gives every believer spiritual gifts. These gifts are Spirit-empowered abilities to minister to the Body of Christ by communicating the knowledge, power and love of Jesus.

God has given the church apostles, prophets, evangelist, shepherds and teachers to equip the church for ministry. Leaders of the church are equippers. Every member of the church is a minister serving Jesus and serving others in everyday life.

God’s love has the power to make us loving people. Paul prays that the church would know the abundance of God’s love, and also be known for loving others.

The church is a people who are continually amazed at the beauty, sufficiency, and riches of Jesus. However deep Christ seems, he is deeper still.
