The Lord’s Supper is a communal meal of remembrance, celebration, thanksgiving and proclamation for all who have been forgiven. The elements of Bread&Wine retell the Gospel story and shape us into a thankful Gospel People who proclaim Christ until he comes again.

Christian baptism, is a sign from God that signifies inward cleansing and remission of sins. Baptism re-names a new believer/creation in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and commissions him/her for a life of worship and mission unto God.

We have fellowship with one another on the basis of our common union with Christ, our participation in the blessings of the gospel and our common task of mission. Our fellowship is demonstrated in love, unity, and practical commitment to one another.

The Scriptures reveal God and we want to know God so we study the Scriptures. The people of God are devoted to the Scriptures on two levels; we study it so that we know what it says and we meditate on it so that we may obey all that Christ has commanded by the power of His Spirit which lives in us.

The Church is a new people with new Gospel identities in Christ. We live together in the Everyday as a good family of servant missionaries who allow others to encounter Jesus in word and deed.

The Holy Spirit has been given to the Church to empower us to bear witness to the good news about Jesus. Our mission is sustainable and effective as we prayerfully depend on the power of the Holy Spirit.

King Jesus has sent us to make disciples like he did; life-on-life, while in community on on mission in everyday life. Jesus gave us this command as a primary commitment that shapes our life, family, community and vocation.

Jesus raised from the dead with an imperishable, glorified body as the first-fruits of resurrection. The Church has been united to Christ and we will follow him in resurrection as God makes all things new.

We as a people must be shaped by God’s Story, God’s Images and God’s Practices for the Church. This will lead us, individually and corporately, to being conformed into the Image of Christ, with God adding others to our number and Christ’s Kingdom advancing here and abroad….all to the Praise of God’s Glory.
