John, Pat, and Steve continue the conversation of Rick Joyner’s book, The Harvest. A book that came about from a vision revealed to Rick more than 25 years ago has brought to light many of the realities that are coming to pass today. In a portion of this vision, Rick saw significant persecution coming to the church. In light of the persecution that is being seen in countries such as North Korea, China, and Northern Iraq, it is a wakeup call for the church in the West. The church will be greatly humiliated before its greatest advances. Amidst these moments of humiliation, it will come from the hands and mouths of many accusers who are against the church. It is vital to understand that a spirit of discernment is vital in these days. We must continually remind ourselves that our enemy is not human beings, it is spiritual, and it is the devil. Either through humbling ourselves or being humiliated, humility will come. Humility is our greatest defense in these moments. We must guard ourselves not to take part with the tongues of accusation, to remember to encourage each other and to lift one another up in prayer. The greatest demonstration of humility is Jesus Christ Himself. During the last 24 hours of his life, amidst everyone, everything coming against Him, Jesus said nothing. Amidst the increasing persecution coming against those who are standing for Jesus Christ, be encouraged how to stand amidst the difficulty of the days ahead, and so much more.

Touching Interview with Murdered American Journalist James Foley’s Parents

John, Pat, and Steve share a recent interview with the parents of murdered American Journalist, James Foley. As John and Diane Foley respond to questions by attentive cameraman and interviewers, they share about the life of James. It was difficult for them, as parents, knowing the continual danger that James was in. John Foley shares a perspective about his son’s life that often times happen. There is such a demand for the news that is occurring in today’s events that we take for granted the journalists that bring the stories together and the lives that are sacrificed to do so. Listening to others and making the stories known was his passion. James brought a humanization to the soldiers that have been a part of the wars that so many have seen. They continue to share their heartfelt gratitude to the many who responded to James’s captivity and the FOJ, “Friends of Jim”. So many came in response; all giving their time and efforts to support the Foley family any way they could. There was no lack of commitment. James was a hero and they ask for continual prayer for those who are still being held captive. “When the Game Stands Tall”: the MOVIE

Greg, Pat, and John talk about the exciting release of another movie that the whole family can watch. “When the Game Stands Tall” is a movie that highlights the true events of California based Catholic school, De La Salle High School. After 12 seasons and 150 games, De La Salle’s football team had quite the unbeatable streak. All of that changed when the streak was broken. “When the Game Stands Tall” begins on that devastating day and brings an intimate eye to the losses that were suffered not only on the field, but also in the lives of those that lived it. CBN brings a personal encounter as they speak not only to the actors but also to some of the individuals that made the movie possible. The Reality of the Muslim Brotherhood: Who They Are, What they have done, and Who has supported them

Greg, Pat, and John revisit the events and presence of the Muslim Brotherhood in headlines, in media, and in America. In the Bible, God says, “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge”. – Hosea 4:6. We must take the time to educate ourselves regarding the events that are taking place and not simply turn our heads in denial. From the onset of President Obama’s leadership, he has taken open actions to be in support of the Muslim Brotherhood. During his June 2009 speech at Cairo University, President Obama stated, “I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.” Continually, the word caliphate is being heard in media. This is what America is fighting against. In August of 2013, CBN reported the Muslim Brotherhood and the history of the Brotherhood, its involvement with other organizations, and the existence of the Islamic Caliphate. It’s important to understand the history of such organizations and to bring a clearer picture of what is currently being seen. It has been shared on VFNtv the events of Former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, and her assistant Huma Abedin as being involved with the Muslim Brotherhood. During Hilary’s time as Secretary of State, it was reported that she was the most traveled Secretary of State. During this time, there was repeated meetings and negotiations taking place with Muslim leadership. Having Abedin as her assistant gave her the ability to sit amongst such leadership. Over time there have been a handful of terrorist organizations bringing concern. President Obama made definite statements in response to the beheading of American Journalist James Foley, addressing ISIL. Regardless of the name: whether Hezbollah, Al-Qaedi, Hamas, Fatah, ISIS, and now ISIL, they all have one common denominator: Radical Islam. It appears that Arab nations are rising together all against Israel. It is time to get on the winning side. Those who are on the side that are against God, who are against Israel, it does not end well in eternity. The REAL Threat of ISIS; they are Cutting us Like Sheep” says Iraqi Christians

Greg, Pat, and John continue the conversation regarding the beheading of American Journalist, James Foley, and bring an enlightening awareness of the horrific atrocities that are happening across the world. In America, there is a tendency to cover things up. When someone is killed from a drinking and driving accident, immediately it is covered with a sheet. In Israel, there are still rusted tanks on the sides of roads standing as a remembrance of events that took place in history. Maybe, if the consequences are known, if reality is seen, these tragedies won’t repeat themselves and the next generation won’t repeat our sin.

The leadership of America has embraced a form of Radical Islam. Some may be aware of the Muslim Brotherhood and their presence in past headlines. Looking at the teachings of Islam, the creed can be understood as: “Allah is our objective. The prophet is our leader. The Koran is our law. Jihad is our way; and dying in the name of Allah is our highest objective.” Media sources have accepted the presence of the Muslim Brotherhood by remaining silent during a multitude of events. When Former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton chose Iranian born Huma Abedin, many condemned Congressman Michele Bachmann’s comments questioning why her background was not researched. Reportedly Abedin’s father played a major role in the Muslim Brotherhood. Many expressed this was no big deal. Again Congressman Michele Bachmann raised concern as to why all forms of radical Islam are being “purged” from the records of FBI and governmental agencies. In the same way the Muslim Brotherhood has been seen we’re now seeing ISIS moving. The beheading of American Journalist James Foley is simply barbaric. President Obama has responded to these acts with absolute clarity calling it what it is, evil.

The President made statements regarding the victims being “overwhelmingly Muslim” as well as targeted Christians. Truth is it doesn’t matter who is suffering acts of violence. We need to view all people as human beings. Regardless of who they are this is a tragedy. We should care about all of the people in the Middle East. CBN reports the devastating events that have taken place in Northern Iraq. At the hand of ISIS, children are being beheaded; their eyes are being torn out, because of their refusal to convert to Islam.

When you begin to look at all the parts, clarity begins to come together. Islam is the Anti-Christ religion. When you take into consideration the increasing number of beheadings that are being witnessed at the refusal of converting to Islam, the Bible gives us tremendous encouragement: “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” – Revelation 20:4

Regardless of the names that are seen in the media: Hezbollah, ISIS, Muslim Brotherhood, or Fatah, it’s still Radical Islam and it is evil. It is time for the church to stand tall; to be that bold for God, just as these little children have been. Even if it costs us our house, our job, our 501c (3), will we stand for Jesus? Be encouraged as you learn how these horrifying events are seen with eternity’s view in mind, and so much more. It’s OK for our Generation to believe that God has Blessed America and not Lose Sight of the many blessings that have Overtaken us

Greg, Pat, and John have an interesting conversation about generations. When we look back in history, we can see that history is made up of generations. Looking back in the Old Testament, the Israelites went through their own sequence of events. Generation by generation they were led, by the hand and mercies of God, out of Egypt, into the wilderness, to the boundaries of the blessed land flowing with milk and honey, and eventually into the land flowing with milk and honey. God had a plan that he desired for His people.

While the Israelites were in Egypt, they were under the oppression of slavery. Crying out for deliverance, God heard their prayers and responded in His mercy. In the wilderness, many forgot that it was the mercies of God that led them out of Egypt. The leadership that God established, Moses, was being criticized. God was not deaf to these words. When God led the Israelites to the land flowing with milk and honey, which is now present day Israel, they had to have faith and believe that God would provide for them and overcome the giants of the land. By this point, the original generation had died away from plagues because of their grumbling and complaining.

The narrative being sown across the land of America is that it is not a blessed land flowing with milk and honey. The lie being shared is that God was involved in the foundations of America. The saying, “for God and country”, is significant in these matters. Because God came first, the nation of America came about. It is for “God and country”, not “for country and many gods”. Have we forgotten that America is a blessed land? Have we forgotten the significance of God’s role in the birthing of America? It’s OK to recognize America as a blessed land flowing with milk and honey. It’s OK to look back on the history in America. It’s OK to revisit the monuments and see the significance of the Biblical values carved into stone. It’s OK to stand with your hand over your heart pledging allegiance to the American Flag. Enjoy this encouraging discussion as you remember what makes the nation of America great, how we can return to a place of gratitude acknowledging all that God has done, and so much more.
