Podcast - The Greg Lancaster Show, Live from the Glory Zone.

John, Pat and Steve talk about the complexity of Jesus’ life and paradigms that He walked in. The Bible highlights the many miracles that Jesus did while He walked on Earth: turning water to wine, He healed the blind, He healed the woman with the issue of blood, He walked on water, and many others. Even amidst such powerful miracles, it was the religious leaders of the day who wanted to kill Jesus. Jesus walked in such a cloak of humility, regardless of the repeated insults that were hurled at Him, He never got offended. Jesus chose to leave the splendors of Heaven to take on our limited frame as humans, to empathize with all of our weaknesses, in order to save us.

An analogy that paints a picture of this paradigm is to imagine a human having compassion on an ant pile. The love of this particular human compels him to leave the understanding and abilities of the human frame to take on the life of an ant. It is important to remember, as an ant, he’ll never again walk in the fullness of a human being. All this was done with the hopes that the ants will receive this one particular ant and believe he came to save them. This analogy pales in comparison to the reality of what Jesus has done for us, but it highlights the greatness and humility of who Jesus is. Be encouraged as your perspective of Jesus changes, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: humility, miracles, offense, Heaven, The Trinity, and pride.

Steve, John, and Pat share about the importance of abiding as they talk about Rick Joyner’s book, The Harvest. Amidst today’s generation of technology and communication, we are able to speak with the world with a click of a button; we are able to connect with what is happening with the change of channel. How do we communicate when there is no internet, when there is no power? How do we connect with relatives in another city or state with no cell phones?

Rick Joyner writes, “Major conferences of apostles and elders will be convened with no invitations being issued and no word being passed concerning them. The Holy Spirit will speak to each who is to attend and He will preside. The Lord Himself will be directing the harvest of the world like the most perfectly managed farm…… The preparation for this great emphasis of the Spirit will be to know the Lord’s voice.”

In these current days, it is imperative for us to know the Lord’s voice. Exciting days are upon us. When we look at what is happening, we can be fearful, unless we know the one who is holding Creation in the palm of His hand. Be encouraged as you find out how to begin an abiding relationship with the Lord, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: abiding, technology, internet, cell phones, power, and the Holy Spirit.

Update on ISIS; The Church in Iraq Opens its Doors to Refugees and Isis warns they are in America

John, Pat and Steve share an update on what is occurring in Iraq and the activities of ISIS. The dam in Northern Iraq has been taken back by the Kurds, taken from ISIS control, causing 500,000 + people not to have their homes flooded stretching as far south as Baghdad. CBN reports how Iraqis have had to flee the Northern parts of Iraq because of the ultimatums given by ISIS, convert, leave or die. Amidst the fleeing, it is the church where refugees are finding safety. Pastor Majeed Mohammed said, “We don’t care that they are Christians, Azidis, Muslims. We don’t care about that because they are human beings. They have been kicked out of their homes by ISIS and terrorist groups. We wanted to show them that as Christians we love them and are very glad to have them here and save them.” It is this important and significant role that the church is playing in this region that is allowing many to be safe. Amidst continuing growing concern regarding the actions of ISIS we can be encouraged and at peace knowing that God is control. We can stand against this as we stand with God and with Israel. Anti Defamation League: Anti Semitism on the Rise in the World

John, Pat and Steve share about the world’s perspective is continually growing more and more Anti-Semitic (anti-Jewish). The Anti-Defamation League is reporting that 25% of 100 countries polled express a deep hatred for the nation of Israel. Anti-Semitic events are occurring across the globe and they are increasing. Crowds are massing expressing their hatred towards the Jews and chanting, “Gas the Jews!”, “Death to the Jews”.

There is a repeated narrative that is being shouted across the globe that consistently against Israel. The images that are being broadcasted regarding the Gaza- Israel conflict consistently pictures Palestinian children injured and Israel soldiers in Gaza. Based on this, what other ideas will be concluded, other than Israel is the bad guy. It is important to remember that Israel is 70 miles wide at its widest point. It is smaller than the state of New Jersey. How can so many nations across the globe have such hatred towards the Jews and the nation of Israel? It is imperative for the church to pay attention to what they’re hearing. Without an understanding of the history of these conflicts we are at the mercy of those who are telling us what it is.

As the church, we must not be ignorant towards these realities. We must stand with Israel, we must pray for Israel, and we must pray for the leadership of Prime Minister Netanyahu. Be encouraged as you hear a full sided perspective of what is happening regarding Israel, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Israel, Anti- Semitism, JJ, Anti-Defamation League, Miami Rabbi, the Holocaust, and Fox News.

Has the Church left the Gold Standard of the Gospel?

Steve, John, and Pat share how presently there are many discussions in the media about the economy of America; inflation, the dollar, The Federal Reserve, etc. For those who aren’t fully aware of these, these talks can go right over your head. In the early 1900’s the American dollar was connected to a specific amount of gold, known as the Gold Standard. Whoever had the money could walk to wherever the gold was being stored and could exchange their dollars for the equivalent value of gold. That all changed in 1971, when President Richard Nixon removed the Gold Standard opening the flood gates to the continual spending of dollar bills. Because of this, the already existing dollars steadily lost their value as more and more dollars were printed and added to the system. This is the general principle of inflation. The current purchasing power of a current dollar bill is worth pennies in comparison to the original dollar of the early 1900s. In essence, the original power of it is only a fraction amidst the greatest amount of money in history. America has left the Gold Standard.

This is what the church has done as well. There has never been a time where the name of Jesus Christ has been more acknowledged, talked about, or discussed. In other parts of the world, simply declaring Jesus Christ as Lord brings immediate persecution and sometimes death. The Church has left the Gold Standard of the Gospel. The present day church has only a fraction of the original power that was seen and carried out in the book of Acts. Be encouraged as you find out what the Gold Standard of the Gospel is, how to return to it, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: President Richard Nixon, The Gold Standard, inflation, Sinful Woman, and the Laodicean Church.

P.M. Benjamin Netanyahu: If you are looking for war crimes don’t look here: Look at Hamas, ISIS, and Syria

John, Pat and Steve continue the conversation about the events in the Israel-Gaza Conflict. Hamas has continued to shower Israel with rocket fire. Tunnels are being dug by Hamas underneath the surface of Israel with the intention to kidnap Israelis. Israeli Defense Forces have found cars, motorcycles and zip ties in these tunnels. This is an intricate system being carried out against Israel to cause fear and anxiety against the Israeli people. In light of all this, the United Nations has decided to have their own inquiry into the Israel-Gaza Conflict. There has been an overwhelming strategy against Israel on every front, every topic, and every action. Regardless of what happens, Israel is viewed upon as the bad guy. To make matters worse, the very one that the United Nations has chosen to head up this inquiry is Canadian international lawyer William Schabas. Instead of visiting Israel to look for war crimes, Prime Minister of Israel responded by saying, “They should visit Damascus, Baghdad, and Tripoli. They should go see ISIS, the Syrian army and Hamas. There they will find war crimes. Not here.”
