Rediscovering God in America: Reflections of the Role of Faith in Our Nation’s History and Future

John, Pat and Steve have an encouraging conversation as they revisit the foundations of America and the original foundations that made it strong. John shares how he had recently met a man from the nation of Sri Lanka and this man expressed his love for the nation of America and what it stands for. It’s important that we don’t forget what makes the nation of America great. The founding fathers of America understood their only ability to stand was by the God who gave them their rights. In his book, “Rediscovering God in America”, Newt Gingrich, takes a journey through the monuments of Washington D.C., the nation’s capital, and details the significance of what each stand for. The continual thread that you find through each of these is the presence and declaration of God. From the Declaration of Independence, to the acceptance speech of the first President, George Washington, God has been recognized and His presence acknowledged. As God is currently being taken out of every platform and our nation is allowing it. It’s time to take a stand for God and proclaim His name, His truths, and His values. No longer should we say, “God Bless America”; it’s time for us to say America will Bless God! If we want politicians in leadership like our first President, we must first be those people. Before we proclaim the Ten Commandments to be put upon the walls of courtrooms, they first must be upon the walls of our heart. Enjoy this refreshing moment of our nation’s heritage and so much more. Also shared in this segment: David Barton, Wallbuilders, Newt Gingrich, Thomas Jefferson, The Declaration of Independence, George Washington, 10 Commandments, Philadelphia, Sri Lanka, and original intent.

ISIS must be STOPPED! They are Beheading Children: It’s Time to be the “Good Samaritan” and Do Something

John, Pat, and Steve share about the horrific tragedies that are continuing to happen in the Middle East. Many have hoped and prayed that it wouldn’t get worse. It has. Reports are being released that the terrorist organization, ISIS, is now beheading children. This is true progression of evil. It is wrong, it is horrific and just plain evil. CBN reports from Northern Iraq how Iraqis are being persecuted, and how in one day, thousands of Iraqis have had to flee from fear of what ISIS is doing. An Iraqi man stated,” they take everything from the house, from the store, everything, they take like the machine. Because they are Christians, just the name Christians, they hate Christians especially. We don’t know why.” ISIS has continued to expand their own borders by breaking down the borders of others. Currently, ISIS has taken control over Northern parts of Iraq and Eastern Syria. Dr. Sarah Ahmed, from the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation of The Middle East, stated, “What is happening now to the Azidis, to the Christians, to the minorities, like in the last couple of days to the Christians, is a genocide.” We must continue to pray. Fox News also interviewed former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee and discussed the Vatican’s strong statement against ISIS’s actions. Mike Huckabee brings great clarity to what a peace maker is in a situation such as this. How Jesus shared the story of the Good Samaritan and his response to the broken and robbed person highlights for us how to respond. Find out the detailed realities of what is happening, how the church can respond, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: ISIS, CBN, Fox News, the persecuted church, Azidis, President Barack Obama, the Good Samartian, and prayer.

Simple Lesson on Middle East Geography and the Newly Elected President of Turkey who reportedly was elected because of his hatred for the Jews: Pay Attention There is a Strategy

Greg, Pat, and John revisit a prophetic word that was given regarding the happenings in the Middle East. With all the current events that are unfolding before our eyes, things are looking much closer than one might believe. In Ezekiel 38 and 39, the Bible shares the events of nations rising up against the nation of Israel. God shows Himself mighty defending the nation of Israel as it results in Israel needing 7 months to bury the bodies and 7 years to burn the weapons of their adversaries and enemies.

By tracing a series of events that have taken place in the Middle East, within the leadership of nations, presently, and in years past, a clear picture of these events begins to take form. During a past Democratic National Convention, it was the Russian Navy that was shown, not the American Navy. Arab nations were standing in agreement together against the actions of Syria. Red lines were drawn. Secretary of State John Kerry has been in continual negotiations and talks with Iran and the activity of Iran’s nuclear development. According to Pat Robertson, CBN, by the end of 2014, Iran will have nuclear capability. ISIS is continuing to bring devastation to Christians in Northern Iraq and carrying out terrorist acts throughout the country. Continuing to trace the events, dots can be connected with Russia, Turkey and the armament of weapons to Gaza. Vice President Elect of Turkey Erdogan has recently been voted into leadership by his open voice of hatred towards Israel.

By looking at all of these events, it appears that the Muslim nations in the Middle East are being organized. Reportedly, Russia is stepping up to offer support to help Israel with their conflict against Gaza. Don’t buy into peace. We have to follow the progression and be mindful of the outcomes. Nations cannot organize against Israel. Doing so will only end up with 7 months and 7 years as the Bible details. The God who watches over Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers and neither should the church. Find out in this critical hour, the detailed trace of events that have brought us to today, what the church can do to stand in allegiance with Israel, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Russia, DNC, Secretary of State John Kerry, Vladimir Putin, President Obama, Mecca, Gaza, flotillas, red lines, prophesy, and prayer.

I Stand with Israel Night: Pastor Dan Livingston City Director of CUFI- Christians United for Israel- Shares about his recent trip to Israel

Greg, Pat, and John share about Dan Livingston’s, Pastor of Transformation Church and City Representative for Christians United for Israel, his trip, along with 50 other pastors from America to the nation of Israel. He shares his accounts as he encountered soldiers in the IDF, the Iron Dome, the border of Israel, and the father of the kidnapped boys in Israel who was murdered at the hands of terrorism. While walking the soil of Israel, Dan was encouraged as he experienced the resolve of the Jewish people. While talking to soldiers of the IDF supporting the Iron Dome, there was no anxiety amongst them. There is such a resounding faith amongst the people of Israel. He also shares his own experiences of the tunnels dug by Hamas under the soil of Israel. What he shares, you won’t hear on mainstream media and it will surprise you. Amidst the people of Israel, it is leadership of Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, that Dan shares he’s never met someone who has had a passion and love for his people more than the Prime Minister.

Dan continues to share the importance of the events in Israel by looking at the history of what has brought us to these present events that have been seen on media. What the media consistently broadcasts is the “land issue” of Israel. The truth is the land issue has already been dealt with. The Bible accounts the covenant the Lord has with the people of Israel and the land that was given to Israel, not in 1948, but over 3,000 years ago. The land that was given to Israel is not the present borders of what you may be familiar with, but land that stretches, surprisingly, far greater than one might think. Dan also accounts of past actions within the United Nations that presented the idea of a 25% and 75% land division. Twenty-five percent would be given to the people of Israel and 75% would be given to the Arab Muslims. Israel accepted and the Arabs denied it. When looking at the entire region of the Middle East, Muslim nations make up 640 times what Israel makes up. 640! Is it really about a land issue? Dan also shares some staggering realities about the truth of Palestinians and the origins of their own history. What is repeatedly being left out of media is going to surprise you. Allow your heart to be stirred, your love for Israel to grow, your understanding of the history in the Middle East to increase, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Dan Livingston, CUFI, Israel, PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Capital of Palestine, United Nations Resolution 181, Christian Zionist, and prayer.
