John, Pat and Chris discuss 14 year old genius Thessalonika who just graduated from college. Her mother started reading to her college text books to her and found out her daughter had the ability to comprehend and learn what she was reading to her. Thessalonika enrolled in college at the age of 11 years old and is now graduating with a 3.9 out of 4.0 grade point average. She credits God for her achievements likes Proverbs 28:5 which says, “They that seek the Lord understand all things.” They continue to discuss how they were challenged and stirred in their faith to believe God for more understanding and to expand their ability to learn and grow.

John, Pat and Chris discuss how if it doesn’t make sense at the time just hold on it will in the end. They encourage us that God has a plan for your life and his plan for your life is always better than the plan you have for your life. He loves you. God knows everything. Although we know what has happened in the past and what is happening in our present God not only knows the past, our present but He also knows our future. We need to let the Holy Spirit guide and direct us. They continue to discuss a very dark moment in David’s life found in 1 Samuel 19 and 20 were David was being hunted to be killed by King Saul. They continue to discuss how David might have felt as he went through this very dark time. The Bible does not mention any sin in David’s life or any action on his part to come against the King that could merit such an attack. The only reasonable explanation was that God allowed it; it was Father filtered. When we face trials of this kind where we experience great pain and discomfort we can either become self-centered or we can become God centered and focus our attention on the Lord, humble ourselves before him and allow Him to see us through. What David found out was that He was in “Kings Training”. God was using King Saul to train David so that the inner Saul in David could be removed. Often times it’s at the end of a season of our life that we can look back and see that the difficult time we went through served a greater purpose. Although it was very unpleasant at the time and it didn’t make sense we just needed to hold on until the end to see what God was doing in our life. He is preparing us for a next season. No thing, no trial is ever wasted in God. He will use it to bring us to the place He wants us to be so we can be prepared for His use and our future destiny in Him.

John, Pat and Chris discuss prophetic happenings regarding Syria, Israel and the coming third great awakening. They continue to share how we are living in the fulfillment of prophecy as we see daily events unfold around the world. They continue to discuss how the Secretary of State spoke before Congress to get support for a military strike on Syria and how many Congressional leaders have come out publicly in support of military action. As a result of some congressman coming forth to declare their support the stock market saw a rapid decline. They caution us and remind us that this is a time for humility and to be watchful and prayerful as U.S. Military ships are in the Mediterranean with missiles aimed at Syria. We are just days away from the anniversary of 9/11 and just one year from the Benghazi terrorist attack that claimed the life of a U.S. Ambassador. They remind us that this is not about Syria but instead about Israel as she lies in the center of all this turmoil. As this is all going on in the Middle East today marks Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. According to CBN, “Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the High Holy Days. It falls on the first day of the seventh month, according to the Hebrew calendar (see Leviticus 23:23). It could occur anywhere from the first to the last week of September on the Western calendar. (Sept. 11, in 1999) It ushers in the ten days of repentance leading up to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.” They encourage us to pray for Israel. Israel makes it in the end. They encourage us to remain awake or we will miss what God is doing on the face of the earth. The only hope for America and the world is a third Great Awakening, a sweeping move of God that spreads throughout the land. They caution us to be awake and not to miss it. Many missed encountering Jesus during his ministry on earth don’t be one to miss what God is doing but instead be prepared to be used in it.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss a currently happenings and Biblical implications of possible world war if United States strikes Syria. Greg shared how the Lord showed him Secretary John Kerry the night before the Secretary of the United States gave a live speech at the same time Greg was showed the night before. Secretary Kerry gave what some have reported the speech of his life laying recent revelations of how President Assaad released chemical weapons on his own people resulting in many deaths. His speech was delivered in such a ways it appeared all but certain the United States would soon strike Syria only to be humiliated the next day when the President decided to seek Congressional support for this strike. This was the right course of action and should be celebrated by Americans who support the Constitution. They encourage us to pray for our members of congress as they make this decision. They continue to share how people have the tendency to act like things have always been that way when things happen. What happened with during Franklin D. Roosevelt’s administration is a perfect example of this. This present administration appears to be walking out those same principles. President Woodrow Wilson was one who said no to war and yet found himself in the middle of WWI. Franklin D. Roosevelt said that he was against war but found himself institution a compulsory Selective Service draft in September of 1940. This was the same man who said under his administration we will never go to war and then he institutes a draft. They continue to discuss how many have been reporting that the Arab League supports the United States in taking action against Syria. When the truth is that the United States should if anything support the Arab league . They continue to discuss that the Arab League which constitutes 22 countries completely morphs and surrounds Israel completely. The comparison made on VFNRadio was that in terms of mere size using a football field as a comparison the whole field would be the Arab League and Israel would be an inch. They continued to discuss that this is really not about Syria but in fact about Israel. The Arab League is s a significant body of countries that should take action however all of sudden the United States is supporting by the Arab League for something they should have taken on we are in essence supporting them in their goals. They encourage us and remind us that this can be prevented but the answer is not political. The true answer can only be found in God. When President Woodrow Wilson wanted to convince the American people of his actions he engaged them on a speaking tour. There are people now working behind the scenes. Greg continues to share how the effects of war are drastic even to the restructuring of nations. We need to stand with Israel. Those who stand with Israel will be blessed those who come against Israel will be cursed. It’s not too late we can turn to God and believe Him for a third great awakening.

Greg, John and Pat discuss the importance and the necessity of meekness. As they continue to discuss Greg shares about a time when his wife was growing up and she was horseback riding with her cousin and she fell off her horse. He shares that she remembers this huge horse being so careful trying not to step on her. When you think of the size of a horse and you begin to think of its power and weight it is amazing that these animals allow us to ride on their backs. They not only allow us to ride on their backs but they also allow us to put a bit in their mouths and we are able to direct them in the direction of our choosing. The horse submits is strength to the rider. Jesus was meek and requires that we become meek as well. There is a big difference between weak and meek. We don’t lose our weakness but submit it to God. We immerse ourselves in the Word of God and like a rudder we use our tongue to shape our words. We must surrender ourselves to the Lord’s leading and directing and we do that when we abide in God’s word. You can change your life when you change your thoughts. Spend time with God and allow him to empower you.

John and Pat discuss how Detroit is making a comeback from bankruptcy but this time with God. Detroit filed bankruptcy in the month of July 2012. Detroit a city that was known for Motown and the motor city is now coming to be known as a dead zone an urban wasteland. The city of Detroit has now over 45,000 abandoned and burned down houses, a joblessness rate of 50% and it now has a murder rate higher than the country of Columbia. They continue to discuss how this is the future of America unless we repent. Things are so bad in Detroit that many of the police are leaving the city with the city already losing 1,000 police officers. The city is now 18 billion dollars in debt. They continue to discuss how church leaders have gathered in the city to bring back Detroit but this time with God. Church leaders are gathering and praying for racial reconciliation dealing with the root issues that did not welcome God in the city. The city has turned to everything else; it’s encouraging to see the city now turn to God.

Greg, John and Pat discuss how we are so blessed and our need to acknowledge God. They continue to encourage us to be open to God’s provision in our lives. They continue to discuss the many conveniences we use every day that are huge blessings to us. They discuss the blessing of having indoor plumbing and water that is safe to drink. The fact the many enjoy shelter; a place to live that keeps them from being exposed to the weather. They continued to discuss a television program called Downtown Abbey that showed what life was like in England during different times in history and how the people of the day adapted to new technologies that many today take for granted. God has so blessed us and it is so important for us to take the time to acknowledge God. We can live the rest of our lives living in gratitude for all the Lord has done for us.

Greg, John and Pat discuss the glory of God. They discuss the account of when Jesus attended a wedding celebration and his mother informed him they had run out of wine. Jesus instructed his disciples to pour water into jars. When they poured from the jars what came out was wine. This was the first revealing of God’s glory. Every time God answers prayer; that is the revealing of His glory. They share some “glory stories”, testimonies about the revealing of God’s glory. TV delivery men prayed for, Woman has divine encounter and receives prayer in front of her own home, Woman received prayer for eye and was healed, Man received prayer while having heart attack and reports later he was healed. Greg, John and Pat discuss how we can live in peace in the midst of struggle. We have to ask ourselves did Jesus have a life of peace. Did the disciples live a life of peace? They continue discuss how it’s not about peace for peace sake but instead peace in the midst of reality, doing, producing, and meeting the demands of reality. The peace of God is on us. Our environment doesn’t affect our peace. Jesus learned obedience by the things he suffered. We can’t believe the lies that tell us that if we please our flesh we will have peace. True peace comes when your flesh is not comfortable. There is another lie that says if you struggle it must not be God. They continue to discuss that you can’t blame God, the government or others. It’s going to take integrity, diligence and true peace. You must be willing to do what’s right even when it hurts.

Greg, John and Pat discuss the importance of fighting for those who have fought for us. There are many soldiers who have sacrificed much. They have submitted themselves to training and to their deployment and who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan in recent history. Many have returned home wounded, having lost limbs and some have even given their lives. They encourage us that whenever we, as Americans, have the chance to honor soldiers who have fought for our freedom and for the Constitution, to take the time to honor them. Just like David in Biblical times rose up to stand with the nation of Israel when Israel fought the Philistines and Goliath because of his service he was greatly honored by the king. We need to remember this and do the same. Let us stand with them. Our pledge is to God and country. Dear God, end abortion send revival.
