Podcast - The Greg Lancaster Show, Live from the Glory Zone.

Greg and Pat discuss Christian NFL most valuable player Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson’s most recent comment he made to “Monday Morning Quarterback”. One of the things he said was after a game that one of the linebackers from the opposing team came to him and said “Adrian, what are you taking, what are you juicing” implying he was using steroids. Adrian replied by telling him that he is, “juicing on the blood of Jesus”. Faith is what is what got to me this point.” Many times people are looking for many reasons for why things are happening and what you are doing to make things happen. If you are a Christian, it’s not about a bag of tricks or formulas. It’s about abiding with God, living for Him, and walking in faith with action that proves your faith in God.

Greg, John and Pat discuss prophetic happenings as Greg shares a timely prophetic word; Our Guns are pointed toward Damascus, Syria while our hearts are turned away from God. They share that when you first get a prophetic word there are times you feel that you hope you are missing it because of the severity of the word and then as the word begins to settle you realize the great need for repentance and after some more time you just realize this is not good unless of course there is repentance. The key to receiving a prophetic word is faith but not just faith in God but also faith in the prophet. Greg continues to share how the Lord showed him over a year ago America as a large ship that was going over the proverbial cliff. The current state of America is one that exudes great pride. Imagine America as a ship or boat with many people all sticking an oar in the water trying to determine the direction in which they want to take the country; of course it goes nowhere. The scary thing about pride is that you don’t even know that you are about to be destroyed. As they continue to share we are reminded of the prophetic word Greg shared one year ago this week called (Hurricane Isaac a warning shot fired over the bow of America? ) (Listen Now or view post). Today as we look at Washington D.C. we are just seeing a reflection of the heart of America. You can’t criticize the mirror of America. This prophetic word was released during the same time that the Republicans were holding their convention in South Florida as Hurricane Isaac hovered right over it resulting in delaying the start of the convention. At the same time shots were being fired by NYPD at the base of the Empire State building where citizens were hit and wounded. There is going to be death and calamity. God is warning but who is paying attention? How does America respond to a Hurricane named laughter (Isaaac) that hovered over the Republican Convention? One month later Americans at the Democratic National Convention booed God and the acceptance of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. A vote was taken to fix what was excluded from the Democratic National Convention’s platform; God and the Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. After several attempts allowing delegates by confirming their vote with Yes or No each time the No’s were clearly louder than the Yes’s. When the measure was finally passed, Americans at the convention booed God. God is neither Republican nor Democrat, He is God. Once the agenda was complete Bishop Vashti McKenzie, Co-chair of the Credentials Committee, made the motion to adopt the credentials committee report which was moved and seconded and was adopted. They continue to share how God does nothing without first revealing it to his prophets Amos 3:7. However, the people must respond. Greg continues to share how military ships in particular those from the Unites States are all named and before their name you will always see the letters USS which stands for United States Ship. These ships as they travel throughout the oceans demonstrate the power of nations. Right now Israel’s enemies surround her as US ships have guns pointed in her direction aimed at Damascus, Syria. All of this is happening as today’s headlines read “Obama Faces Pressure to Make Case for Shot Across Bow Against Syria”. Guns are pointed toward Syria yet our hearts are turned away from God. President Obama was the one who empowered the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and it is being reported that it is the Muslim Brotherhood that is fighting against President Asaad in Syria. A group his father, Hafez al- Assad, had allegedly suppressed and killed many members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Even today the Muslim Brotherhood has influence that reaches the White House. According to CBN, “Before President Barack Obama departed for Israel earlier this year, he took time to consult with Mohamed Magid. Magid has reportedly become a trusted administration advisor on issues ranging from immigration to counterterrorism policy.” Mohamed’s organization Islamic Society of North America according to CBN reports, “internal Muslim Brotherhood documents, captured by the FBI, name ISNA as one of 29 American-Muslim organizations with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood”. They continue to discuss that when looking over time the context of dates are important as you can really see how multiple things were happening at the same time as tightly woven fabric. They discus that when Archduke Ferdinan was assassinated his death was the first step in WWI and as a result of the war came the League of Nations which later became the United Nations. President Woodrow Wilson went to war to fund big government and was the one responsible for the founding of the League of Nations. It is interesting to note that next year will mark 100 years of that war the same year of the expected 4 blood moons. What we are prophetically seeing is the groundwork being laid for who will be the next governor of American and for President Bill Clinton as the President of the World. Israel is completely surrounded by her enemies and America has guns pointed in her direction aimed at Damascus, Syria, Isaiah 17, and Ezekiel 12. In the end we will be judged for how we treat Israel, Joel 3. God will judge those who come against the apple of God’s eye. If we don’t humble ourselves we will be humbled. Our only hope is to abide daily with God, listen to his voice and do what he tells us to do

John, Greg, and Pat discuss how an Ohio man has been raised from the dead. According to CBN a thirty seven year old man Tony Yahle has come back to life after being dead for 45 minutes. It is being reported that he had difficulty breathing and went into cardiac arrest. After 45 minutes trying to save his life he was pronounced dead by doctors. Just when you think it is over God always has the last word. Many of his family members were praying as his pastor. Pastor Santoro rebuked the spirit of death over Tony and called his son Lawrence back into the room. Lawrence, “Refusing to accept his father's death, Lawrence said something extraordinary: "I said, 'Dad, you're not going to die.'" It has been reported that almost immediately Tony’s body began to show signs of life and within five days he fully awoke without any pains in his body. They continue to discuss the power and glory of God. Jesus told his disciples greater things will you do because I go to the father. Bold faith filled words spoke life right back into Tony’s body. They encourage us to refuse to accept any negative report as final and to go to God with everything and allow God to have the last word.

Greg shares Jesus’ great expectation. He shares how Dr. Ben Carson wrote in his book America the Beautiful that Islam was the fastest growing religion but not by conversion but instead by birth. In order to know Jesus you must be born again. God loves mankind but it is up to us as believers, to tell them. Jesus didn’t die on the cross so that we can build and fill buildings. Jesus told his disciples in Mark 16:20 “Then, the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it.” God loves Muslims but you must tell everyone. He continues to share how there must be a “then” in your life that causes you to do something for God. You can’t go out if you are not a disciple. A disciple is one who loves God and follows his ways. His or her love compels them to tell someone about Jesus. This is not a hard thing to do if we are truly His disciples. If you can talk easily about the latest item you purchased you should be able to speak about the person you have received and who has forever changed your life. It’s important to note that scripture says the disciples went out. It’s not supposed to be a “come ye” church but rather a “go ye church”. People are hungry to hear about authentic encounters with God. The key is authenticity; even the Apostle Paul said that he did not come with enticing words but with the demonstration of the Spirit’s power. God’s expectation is that we go out as his disciples, those who love him, to preach the kingdom of God. The disciples preached everywhere and they did so in faith. God’s word says that God will work with you confirming His word with signs. You are not to follow signs but rather signs are to follow you and point back to Jesus. He continues to share that when people experience the glory and power of God not to assume anything but to ask them if they want to receive Jesus as their Lord and savior. It’s time to stir up your faith and to believe God and watch the revealing of God’s Glory unfold and lead them to Jesus Christ.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how missiles are aimed at Syria and how Syria says that if the U.S strikes Syria, Syria will strike Israel. They continue to discuss that all we have to do is hear what God is saying and obey what He tells us to do. The word of God tells us plainly that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. However, God does nothing without first revealing it to His prophets. They continue to share how what is going on in the Middle East right now is a result of what former President Bill Clinton and Hilary Clinton started some time ago and has resulted in the acceptance of a religion, Islam, which is anti-Jesus and denies the Holy Spirit. The Arab spring is now surrounding Israel like a ring of fire. We are now witnessing a civil war in Syria where 100,000 people have been killed. It is also being reported that the President of Syria, Bashar Asaad, has used chemical weapons on his own people which President Obama indicated in time past that if chemical weapons were to be used, that would be crossing the red line and would elicit a response from the United States. A time when our nation is already weakened, President Obama is dispatching U.S. Navy ships to the region and is considering a missile strike on Syria. Syria has said that if they are hit they will strike Israel. They encourage us to ask God to protect Israel and to ask our leaders to back down form this unless they do it right. All of this is happening at the same time a Chinese General has been invited to the heart of our defense, the Pentagon. It is clear that we are just being turned over thus making it ever so important to abide and to discern the season and times we are living in. No matter what happens in Washington D.C. we are responsible because we are Josiah. We are the “kings” in this land and it is our responsibility to elect representatives that enact laws that honor God and are in step with our Constitution. Josiah restructured everything because he was the king and so can we. We can respond like Josiah; all we need to do is humble ourselves, repent, and pray.

Greg, John and Pat discuss how fathers in homes make the difference as they share the fine work of Dr. James Dobson and the ministry he founded, Focus on the Family. They discuss a study that pointed to a reality that fathers need to be present in the home amongst the family to make a big difference. It is their presence in the home amongst the family for the attributes of the father to come out. There are many theories but those theories on fatherhood go aside until you actually become one and walk it out. If the father gets pulled out the home what’s on the inside of him becomes very difficult to be released. We can’t allow the father to be pulled out of the picture.

Greg, John and Pat discuss Dr. Ben Carson’s book, America the Beautiful. They discuss Dr. Carson’s books has he shared good outside the box solutions to fix some of the problems we are facing in America. They continue to share how this is a good book to help you get a broader perspective on the issues that face America so that you can ask those seeking to serve in public office; what are their plans for empowering the poor? He shares possible solutions to food stamps and health care and shares how one of the ways to bring justice to America is to do so in the economy. No matter the solutions one of themes Dr. Carson emphasizes in his book is the need for sacrifice.

Greg, John and Pat discuss how the country of Mexico was able to adopt a policy that brought 14 million Mexicans out of poverty. They continue to share comments made by the former Mexican Ambassador to the U.S. at the Re-Inventing Communities, Business, and Education session at the Biennial of the Americas International Festival. He shared that Mexico adopted a policy that would give finances to the mothers of impoverished families. The money came with expectations which were to keep the children in school with a certain GPA and take the children to the doctors. What they found was that the money distributed with expectations did two things. It took care of a present need as well as empowers the next generation to get out of poverty. They continued to discuss the numerous benefits of having programs that just don’t help out but also help people with a hand up.
